General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, August 26 – Spencer Blasts Nik Over Esme – Terry & Yuri Bond – Austin Fiercely Protects Maxie

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, August 26, tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will blast Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) over Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) while Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) bond. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will also fiercely protect Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), so let’s talk about what’s coming up in Port Charles.

First, Austin will decide he’s had enough of Mason (Nathanyael Grey) and all his threats – particularly the ones aimed at Maxie.

After Austin grips his cousin by the head, he’ll warn Mason to leave Maxie out of this.

Of course, Mason isn’t the type to back down from a fight, so he may kick his threats up a notch instead.

That’s especially true since the boss clearly expects Mason to handle Austin and get him back into the fold.

Over with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll push Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to use all her “assets” and pry information out of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

Since this could get Anna off Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) back, Lucy will decide she’s willing to pitch in.

At some point, Victor will turn to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for help.

That could involve the situation with Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) – or perhaps Victor will grow suspicious after Lucy makes her move.

Victor will remain on edge over Anna’s persistent curiosity as well, so he’ll rely on Valentin to make sure they have no serious threats.

It’s clear that Victor has big plans and wants the Cassadine clan to present a united front.

Of course, there’s a problem since Spencer just overheard Ava ranting at Nikolas for sleeping with Esme.

Spencer glared at Nikolas and will push for confirmation soon enough, so Ava will insist it’s true.

Nikolas will try to explain the situation, but there’s nothing he could possibly say to make this better.

Spencer will fly into a rage and could easily disown his father all over again, so Nik will lash out at Ava in the aftermath.

This will lead to Nikolas dishing out some harsh truths of his own. Maybe Nikolas will point out that Victor is right – that without the Cassadines, Ava has no one.

Meanwhile, Yuri and Terry will grow closer. In a fun twist, it looks like Terry and Yuri were actually the ones who ended up with the Sicilian thunderbolt cups.

Now Yuri and Terry have formed an instant connection, so they’ll have a chance to build on that in Friday’s GH episode.

Terry will quickly find that she has a lot in common with Yuri, who should become just as smitten as she is.

In the stables, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will rip into Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) for going behind her back and calling Dr. Sarah Webber (Sarah Laine).

There’ll be a major argument, but Finn will beg Liz not to run away from herself and whatever burden she’s carrying.

Elizabeth will ultimately have another traumatic flashback, so she’ll remember something from the past that catches her off guard.

Back with Lucy, she’ll meet up with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).

That’ll give Lucy and Felicia a chance to fill Anna and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) in on Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) parental drama.

Next, Cody will bicker with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) about her father.

Britt’s reluctance to discuss Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) will lead to Cody analyzing why and pushing her buttons.

Finally, danger will lurk as the Quartermaine picnic winds down.

Someone armed with a hook will apparently go after Ava, who’ll find herself backed into a horrifying corner.

General Hospital spoilers say Ava will panic over this tight spot, but some surprising help is on the way.
