General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, July 22, tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will drug the Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) the bartender while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) spies Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) shady meeting.
On The Haunted Star, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will insist Austin isn’t who Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) thinks he is.
Spinelli will feel confident Maxie has no future with Austin, even if she thinks otherwise.
Maxie will grill Spinelli about his reasoning and will grow concerned about his suspicious behavior lately.
After Maxie pumps Spinelli for info, he’ll blurt out that he’s behind Society Setups and will reveal that Zelda Telesco (Kristin Casey) is just for show.
Maxie will hear about the algorithm Spinelli uses to match people and how her profile wasn’t a good match for Austin’s.
Since Spinelli has been so secretive, Maxie will wonder if he thinks people wouldn’t use the service if they knew he was involved.
That’ll leave Maxie assuring Spinelli that she’d trust him with her heart if she were single.
On the deck, the mystery man will be there to deliver a message to Austin and will insist time’s up.
Austin will argue that he doesn’t answer to him, but the guy will fire back that Austin answers to his boss.
The mystery man will contend that Austin’s gambit in Port Charles failed, so he needs to return to the fold.
There’ll be consequences if Austin doesn’t cooperate, so he’ll get agitated when the guy mentions Maxie to threaten him into submission.
At the stables, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will accuse Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) of putting on an act to get her between the sheets.
Cody will claim he was trying to impress Britt, but she’ll call time of death on this date and urge him to get out of her life.
After Cody insults Britt by calling her a nag, she’ll dump the rest of her drink on his head and end up on The Haunted Star later.
That’s where Britt will peek around the corner and seem curious about Austin’s shady meeting.
Once Britt interrupts looking for Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), Austin will cover poorly and leave Britt exasperated over men not being honest with her.
Talk will turn to Britt’s dating struggles and her overbearing mother, but Austin will remind her that she’s in charge of her own love life.
Back inside, Britt will gripe about her horrible Society Setups date and announce that she’s going to sue them out of business.
Maxie and Spinelli will do their best to convince Britt to drop that idea.
Nearby, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will tell Linc Brown (Dan Buran) that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) already has management for his music career.
Linc will think he can do a better job than Brook Lynn, so he’ll get Chase to agree to let them both come up with proposal packages.
In the aftermath, Brook Lynn and Chase will be delighted over their plan working like a charm.
While Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) plans to dig around where Oz was last seen, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will keep Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) company and talk to her about his schizophrenia.
Portia will also appreciate Marshall’s comforting words about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial and the hope that her nightmare will be over soon.
After getting a text summoning him to Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) car, Curtis will get in and learn she wants to help him with his bartender situation.
Selina will note that she can point Curtis in the right direction.
Although Curtis will be suspicious over what’s in it for Selina, she’ll suggest he’s running out of time and can’t go around chasing leads.
Meanwhile, Esme will show up at the bartender’s gross new hideout and admit she doesn’t have a rich boyfriend anymore.
Since Esme’s trust is also tied up, Oz will realize she can’t pay for his silence.
Esme will try flattery instead and will apologize for acting like a spoiled rich girl before.
Oz will describe the guys who recently came to him, so she’ll determine that Curtis and Marshall were the ones investigating.
After Esme gets Oz to drink with her, she’ll plant a kiss and leave him thinking they’re going to take this to the bedroom.
Esme will convince Oz to drink even more and smirk over people underestimating her.
The bartender will collapse after being drugged by Esme – and soon after, Curtis will show up outside the door looking for Oz.
General Hospital spoilers say Esme will fight to keep herself out of trouble, but the walls will start closing in before long.
