General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, May 13, tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will help find Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mom while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has proof for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also take a stand, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will all focus on helping Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) get ready for his upcoming performance.
Leo is supposed to recite a poem for the theatre group’s show, but he’s been battling some stage fright.
Fortunately, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) offered some good advice – and there may be others who pitch in with more guidance soon enough.
Of course, Ned won’t be able to shake the business concerns that have been on his mind.
Brook Lynn will get some bad news when she learns about Michael and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) merger plans.
“They’re planning for the future with no place for me!” Ned declares in Friday’s GH preview video.
That’ll bring Brook Lynn’s sympathy and support, but Ned will still worry about what’s next.
The same goes for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who’ll have a strategy session with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) at Kelly’s.
Martin will warn that if the Quartermaine family remains a united front, then Valentin doesn’t stand a chance.
Ned is already clashing with Drew and Michael, so they’re not as united as Michael might think! Valentin may plot to use that to his advantage and keep some power.
Next, Willow will seek Sam’s assistance.
Sam will tell Willow to count her in and will promise that they’ll find her together, so it sounds like Sam will vow to help track down Willow’s birth mother.
As for Dante, he’ll be busy trying to help Michael and Sonny make amends.
Dante will insist that Sonny cares about his family and will plan to prove it to Michael.
Although Michael may be skeptical, Dante will do his best to show off Sonny’s softer side and highlight his family devotion.
Sonny will also take a stand when he talks about putting a stop to something.
Despite Sonny’s anger over Michael’s disrespect, he loves his son and doesn’t want this rift to widen any further.
Over with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), they’ll hit the nail salon for a mani-pedi.
Josslyn will no doubt complain about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and her recent issues with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
As they chat, Joss may also sense that Carly seems rather secretive.
Even if Carly isn’t willing to divulge anything about Willow and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) sneaky DNA test, Josslyn may realize her mom’s hiding something.
As for Nina, she’ll catch up with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and most likely hear about Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) leaving town.
Curtis might act like there’s no hope for his relationship with Marshall, but he’ll still think Nina has a chance to be in Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) life.
Backing down won’t be an option as far as Curtis is concerned, so he’ll throw his full support behind Nina ahead of the visitation hearing.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will also seek updates from TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), so she’ll fish to find out if he has something to report.
That could lead to TJ opening up about the loss of his first patient and how difficult it was, especially since Willow had a connection to Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel).
Willow is grieving a complicated loss right now, but she can take some comfort in the biological mom search that’s brewing.
