General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, May 6, reveals that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was ready to dig into Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) past while Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) faced a tempting new drug offer.
At GH, Sasha was shaky due to her withdrawal symptoms, but she put on a brave face around Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) revealed that Sasha’s CT results were normal and prescribed an over-the-counter medication that was non-habit forming for her headaches.
In a moment alone, Sasha frantically searched her bag for any remaining pills since she flushed her stash earlier.
The photographer showed up and knew what she was looking for, but he just wanted his memory card back.
In exchange, he suggested he’d delete the pill-related photos and hook Sasha up with one of his connections to score more drugs.
Meanwhile, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) found out Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) got his hands on Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) sealed arrest record without her help.
That led to some bickering before Jordan blurted out that she cared about Curtis.
Jordan didn’t want Curtis to put her in a situation where she couldn’t look the other way, so he understood.
As Jordan quizzed Curtis about whether what he learned was worth it, TJ appeared and grew curious about Marshall.
Once Jordan took off, TJ showed Curtis the clarinet and the note that Marshall sent him. Curtis admitted he was to blame for Marshall leaving town.
In Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) office, he didn’t care about Dex’s (Evan Hofer) resume and felt that being tough could only get you so far.
Sonny needed someone smart who could follow orders and never think he knows better than the boss.
Dex assured Sonny he could be that person and said all the right things.
Sonny liked Dex’s attitude, but he thought attitude eventually had to be backed up.
Dex just wanted a chance to prove himself to Sonny and was eager to lock in a job.
After Brando interrupted, Sonny sent Dex to wait at the bar.
Brando was worried about how Sasha was holding up after Harmony’s death, especially since the loss of Liam Corbin was still fresh.
Sonny offered good advice about looking for warning signs and helped Brando see that Sasha had to know he’d catch her if she fell.
When Brando sought updates on the guys that tried to rob Charlie’s Pub, Sonny made it clear that he was dealing with it.
Over with Dex, he recognized Brando as a family member of Sonny’s from the gym. It led to Dex talking about Sonny being known for his loyalty.
Next, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) found Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) at the Metro Court Gardens, where she still had the memory card.
Valentin offered to help and put the memory card in the laptop on the table, so that pulled up the photographer’s troubling pill pics.
Gladys defended Sasha, but Valentin knew a different story would be told if these photos landed in the wrong hands.
Despite Valentin’s concerns as an investor in Deception, Gladys downplayed everything.
Later, Sasha met up with Gladys and suggested they should give the photographer the card back.
Gladys seemed concerned about giving their power away, but Sasha acted like it’d be a gesture of goodwill and that the guy would leave them alone.
Gladys pointed out that Sasha made Brando happy, which made Gladys happy, too.
After Gladys suggested Sasha could trust her with anything, she seemed to be fishing for a confession that never came.
At the nail salon, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) wanted Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) complete attention and worried about Grant Smoltz (David Lautman) destroying her in the press before the visitation hearing even happened.
Scott argued that compared to Grandma Harmony, Nina would look like Mother Theresa to a judge.
Since there was so much drama going on, Scott thought maybe Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) would drop everything.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) waltzed in and informed Scott that they would indeed go to court.
After Diane pointed out Scott was behind on the latest news, she noted that Harmony wasn’t biologically related to Willow and that she wouldn’t affect the case.
Diane felt that Nina should drop her push to see Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) before the first article when national, but Nina refused.
Nina planned to drag Michael and Willow down in the mud with her if she had to.
Once Nina was alone with Scott, she felt they needed to do some digging.
Since Willow was too good to be true, Nina felt there had to be something out there to find and use to their advantage.
At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Dante and Carly worked to convince Willow that Harmony truly wasn’t her bio mom.
It eventually made sense to Willow considering the missing birth certificate situation.
Willow found out the original one was forged and reeled over being kidnapped as a baby.
When Willow asked if Harmony told Carly anything else, Carly didn’t mention the part about Nina being her biological mother.
Dante suggested a DNA test as the first step toward answering more questions and felt it could rule out Willow being related to Harmony.
Michael thought there would be time for that later – and Willow also wanted to delay it since she was so overwhelmed right now.
Carly mentioned how she promised Harmony that she’d protect Willow, but that left Willow confused about what she needed protection from.
Once Willow was alone with Michael, she pondered the identity of her real mother.
Next, Dante met up with Jordan, who wanted him to focus on finding Willow’s birth mom since someone was missing a daughter.
Jordan urged Dante to find out the details of Harmony’s life before she came to Port Charles.
When Carly bumped into Valentin at the Metro Court Gardens, he hinted about dropping the court battle.
Carly realized Nina had gotten to Valentin, but he acted like Nina had lost her daughter because of Carly and pushed to end the Wiley feud.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will land in some tight spots as this storyline moves along, so stay tuned.
