General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, April 18 Recap – Liz’s Creepy Call – Brendon’s Body Found Floating - Harmony Steals Evidence

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, April 18, reveals that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) had a creepy call before realizing it was a false alarm. Brendon Byrne’s (Josh Coxx) body was also found floating while Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) stole the dirt Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) had on her, so let’s discuss all the shockers.

First on Monday’s exciting episode, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) brought some food to the tables outside the hospital and was eager to help Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) look through her dating matches.

Britt tried to get Brad to focus on his own love life instead and offered to be his wing-woman.

However, Brad steered the conversation toward his potential job at GH and whether Britt had heard from Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).

Britt did her best to dodge Brad’s questions and urge him to look for a better opportunity, but Brad didn’t think he had options other than working for Selina Wu (Lydia Look).

Britt was clearly on edge over Selina’s blackmail, so she shifted gears again and went back to her dating matches.

Britt wondered what kind of a future she could have with a new guy anyway.

That left Brad curious what Britt meant, but she managed to cover her Huntington’s disease blunder.

At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) place, she met with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) about the Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagner) situation.

The gang was mostly skeptical of Jennifer being behind Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) murder.

Laura admitted it sounded more like a Cassadine move – and Robert urged Anna to use her relationship with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to get answers about Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

Anna eventually mentioned the French naval captain who might be the key to cracking the case.

At the hospital, Liz called Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) attention to some missing exam notes.

They wound up bickering before apologizing to each other since they both had a lot going on at home.

Over with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he spoke to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about her decision to let Harmony move in.

Alexis confessed to feeling like maybe she didn’t know Harmony at all now.

After Finn opened up about Liz’s situation, Alexis suggested she should talk to Kevin.

Finn caught up with Liz later and pitched the idea since Kevin specialized in therapies that recover memories.

Kevin thought Kevin could help Liz remember more of her dream and perhaps catch her stalker, but Liz only agreed to think about it.

Meanwhile, Harmony had a close call with a housekeeper before producing Brendon’s keycard.

Harmony claimed she was a guest before sneaking in Brendon’s room and swiping the files that contained all Neil’s dirt.

When Alexis returned to her office, she found Valentin waiting for her.

Valentin mentioned that Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McLain) was in boarding school and praised Alexis’ work at The Invader.

Valentin acted like it was good to have a media company in the family and suggested Victor agreed.

Alexis didn’t get why Valentin cared what his father thought and wasn’t going to help Victor though the paper if that’s what he was angling for.

After Valentin talked about family unity and said you couldn’t pick your family, Alexis disagreed.

Next, Valentin crossed paths with Robert and ultimately found Anna at her house.

Valentin was quite eager to catch up since he hadn’t been able to get Anna off his mind.

Harmony headed to the Metro Court bar for a drink and ran into Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who was there for soup since she wasn’t feeling well.

Willow acted like it was probably just a stress headache from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

When Harmony suggested she wanted to support Willow as long as she was there, Willow wondered if Harmony was planning on going somewhere else.

Harmony covered, but she got emotional over trouble following her and left Willow suspicious.

Willow felt like this had something to do with Brendon, so Harmony admitted to meeting him beforehand in Alexis’ office.

Harmony downplayed the drama and argued that no matter what she’d done, she had done it for Willow.

That left Willow questioning what exactly Harmony had done.

On the pier, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) found Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and admitted to striking out on Spoon Island.

Jordan wasn’t allowed to speak to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) or Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) without an attorney, but she acknowledged that she kept hearing Esme’s name in the case.

After Jordan mentioned her refusal to assist with his Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) investigation, Curtis offered reassurance.

Once the coast was clear, Selina approached Curtis to let him know what her people found in their own investigation of Marshall.

Selina confirmed that Marshall was never in witness protection and showed Curtis proof of the unsealed arrest records on her phone.

Before Selina would hand over that information, she wanted Curtis to hold up his end of the bargain at The Savoy.

Jordan made her way to the hospital, where Portia lashed out over Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) arrest.

Portia mentioned that Jordan bent the rules for her own family, but Jordan pointed out that it led to issues when she did.

Once Portia wondered if Jordan was making this personal, Curtis showed up to witness the faceoff.

Back with Liz, she took a call at the nurses’ desk and was creeped out.

The man warned Liz not to forget him – just like in the dream – but it was just a patient asking for his blanket.

Over with Britt again, she seemed poised to come clean about Selina’s blackmail until Ms. Wu herself showed up.

Selina informed Britt that she had a new job for him and insisted on going elsewhere to discuss it.

On the pier, Alexis was horrified as she found a dead body floating in the water.

Of course, viewers know that body is Brendon’s, so Harmony’s problems are about to get worse!

General Hospital spoilers say Alexis has more Harmony mayhem ahead of her, so stay tuned.
