General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, August 15 Recap – Oz Demands Lawyer After Portia’s Video Ambush – Liz Threatens Finn Breakup

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, August 15, reveals that Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) demanded a lawyer after Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) video ambush – and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) threatened a breakup after Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) refused to respect boundaries.

At GH, Liz realized the elevator was stuck and recalled how it forced her to use the stairwell before.

Finn was worried about Elizabeth after her recent bout of vertigo, but Liz acted like she was fine.

Afterward, Finn made his way to Terry Randolph’s (Cassandra James) office and expressed concern for Liz.

Once Finn asked about Liz’s parents and the issues she might’ve had growing up, Terry didn’t know about anything specific.

Meanwhile, Portia realized she was out of options and injected Oz with the drug to wake him up quickly.

After Oz’s monitors indicated a change, Portia seemed hopeful and snuck out of his room.

Once Liz appeared, Portia followed her back in as Oz awoke.

Oz answered some questions about his name and what year it was before Liz decided to get his doctor.

Portia begged for a few moments alone to question Oz, so Liz suggested it might take a while to track the other doc down.

After Liz showed up in Terry’s office, she found Finn and assumed they were talking about her behind her back.

Finn admitted he was concerned about Liz and mentioned her parents, which set Liz off.

If Finn refused to respect boundaries and brought up her parents again, Elizabeth insisted they were done.

Once Liz left in a huff, Finn hinted to Terry about going to another source for info.

After Jordan was freed from the elevator, she told Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) to take Trina home to change clothes since her verdict was officially in.

Back with Portia, she pulled out her phone to make a video recording and pushed Oz to help clear Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

Portia needed Oz to rat Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) out for buying the black-market phone and drugging him to keep it quiet.

As Portia raised her voice and put pressure on Oz, Jordan entered and urged Portia to let her handle this.

Unfortunately, Oz demanded a lawyer and refused to name the guilty party.

Portia feared she might’ve pushed too hard and knew she needed to get to the courtroom for Trina’s sake.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) did his best to offer comfort, but Portia was still pretty shaken up.

Once Jordan emerged from Oz’s room, Portia wondered if the newly awakened witness was willing to help Trina.

At the Metro Court pool, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) admitted to Cameron Webber (William Lipton) that she hadn’t told Trina about Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) plan yet – the one where he was trying to trap Esme all along.

Cameron also met Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), who approached Josslyn to ask about Trina’s case.

After Joss told Cam about Dex working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the jury tampering, she headed to the courtroom.

Since Cameron had to help deal with an Aiden Webber (Enzo de Angelis) emergency, Josslyn apologized for him when she met up with Trina.

At Wyndemere, Spencer upset Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) with the news that he turned down a plea deal.

After Spencer revealed he would’ve had to name his escape accomplice, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was grateful for his loyalty.

Spencer was adamant about facing the music and just wanted Victor to find Esme for Trina’s sake.

Once Spencer left, Victor suggested it wouldn’t be too hard to look into Esme’s whereabouts considering all his resources.

Nikolas lied that he paid Esme to leave town, but Victor was skeptical. When Victor refused to let it go, Nikolas finally blurted out that Esme was dead.

Back in the courtroom, Spencer approached Trina and stood by his decision to come clean about his escape.

Trina was curious about how long Spencer had believed in her innocence, but Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) shut down the conversation.

Once court was in session, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) pushed for a delay since new evidence had come to light.

Diane argued that a witness had just come out of a coma, but the judge wasn’t convinced by her last-minute strategy and moved ahead with the verdict.

After the jury came in, Josslyn watched as Dex and the jury foreman had a stare-down. As for Trina, she waited to learn her fate.
