General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, December 19 Update – Drew Discovers Birth Mom Lie – Nik & Liz Showdown – Sonny & Nina Mission

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, December 19, teases that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will meet with Denise McKenzie (Alex Rietveld) once more, so it looks like she’ll keep her end of the bargain thanks to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) second payment.

Denise will give Drew another bogus story and make it seem like she just now has info related to Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) dead birth father.

Perhaps Denise will act like her memory was jogged following her initial conversation with Drew.

Whatever the case, Drew won’t feel like Denise is being totally honest with him.

It turns out Drew will do a little more digging and meet with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to discuss his suspicions.

Although Drew will still be working on finding Josiah the commune leader, he’ll notice something peculiar about the census from the year Joan arrived.

There’ll be no record of anyone with Joan’s name or even anyone that matches her general description.

Alexis will compare notes with Drew and indicate that according to her source, there’s a reason why things don’t add up.

It seems Alexis will totally agree Denise is lying, so she may have some news about this firefighter’s shady background.

Alexis will fill Drew in on anything he needs to know abotu Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) as well.

By the time this conversation’s over, Drew may feel confident that Willow’s birth mother is still out there somewhere.

At GH, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will battle doubts about one of Willow’s next steps.

Although Michael certainly wants Willow to get the treatment she needs and make a full recovery, there’ll be some aspect of her medical case that makes him pump the brakes.

Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will object when Carly tries to send her out of town – presumably to live with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) in Australia until the hook mayhem passes.

Josslyn will refuse to abandon Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) or anyone else she cares about in Port Charles, so Carly may push her daughter to stay on guard.

Since Josslyn will be an emotional wreck over Rory Cabrera’s (Michael Blake Kruse) demise and the toll it’s taking on Trina, Carly will embrace her daughter and offer some extra love.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also end up on a mission to help Ava Jerome (Maura West), who’ll be on an angry downward spiral.

Ava believes Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) had an affair with a now pregnant Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), so she may spill updates to Nina.

Since Nina will see the potential for this divorce to get nasty, she’ll warn Ava not to do anything she’ll regret and push her to make a vow.

Ava may placate Nina with some reassurance, but she’ll remain determined to get payback on Nikolas.

Sonny will also join the mission to offer Ava support, but he may not get as many details as Nina gets.

Whatever the case, it’s nice to see this helpful side of Sonny – especially since it shows how far he’s come in his complicated relationship with Ava.

Next, Elizabeth and Nikolas will face off now that they know Esme can’t be “The Hook.”

Liz may think they need to hand Esme over to the cops, come clean to their respective love interests and try to salvage what’s left of their demolished lives.

However, Nikolas will remain worried about the threat of prison and may argue Esme doesn’t have to be the hook killer to be dangerous.

In the end, Liz will get roped into keeping this secret for a while longer.

At the boxing gym, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) won’t want to hear Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) excuses or her proposal about his duet performance with “Blaze” aka Allison (Jacqueline Grace Lopez).

Brook Lynn will push Chase to keep his commitment to “Blaze” and finish the job when it comes to helping her take Linc Brown (Dan Buran) down.

Instead, Chase will vow to sever his connection to Brook Lynn in every way and will fire her as his manager.

General Hospital spoilers say Chase will add to Brook Lynn’s misery, so she’ll be deeply saddened by the tough blow ahead on ABC’s GH.

CDL will have other exciting General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so stop by often.
