General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, July 11 – Sonny’s Surprise Encounter – Austin’s Shady Phone Call – Maxie’s Picnic Goes Awry

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, July 11, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a surprise encounter while Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) takes a shady phone call. Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) picnic will also go awry, so let’s talk about what’s ahead as Port Charles celebrates a belated Fourth of July.

For starters, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will enjoy reminiscing with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) as they share more blast-from-the-past stories with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

However, Cody will cut the conversation short when he spots Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) nearby.

That’ll lead to Cody approaching Britt, who’ll act like she’d rather be in just about anyone else’s presence.

When Britt hints for Cody to leave, he’ll wonder why he’d do that when he just met his match.

Of course, Cody will be talking about the Society Setups match notification that they both received, but that’s no doubt the result of his deal with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

Speaking of Spinelli, he’ll manage to put his foot in his mouth during a discussion with Maxie.

We should mention that Britt will become a third wheel on Maxie and Austin’s picnic in the park, but Spinelli will arrive soon after and add to the awkwardness.

In a moment alone, Spinelli will blurt out something that offends Maxie, who’ll wonder why he would say that.

It’s no secret that Spinelli thinks Maxie deserves better than Austin, so he may have to apologize for a negative comment about the man in her life.

Nevertheless, Spinelli might be right since Austin is keeping secrets from Maxie and sneaking around.

We’ll see Austin step away from the picnic for a clandestine phone call, so that’ll no doubt involve talking to the person he secretly met with in the Pautuck woods.

There’s been speculation that perhaps Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond) isn’t so dead after all, but only Austin knows the truth about who he’s been interacting with and what they’re hiding.

Regardless, Austin will snap over the phone and warn this mystery person to live up to their end of the bargain.

Next, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will tell Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that this is her chance to escape the gravity well.

Trina’s trial is rapidly approaching, but Joss may think needs to let loose for now – especially since Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will be on hand to help with that.

Over with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), she’ll make a suggestion that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) shuts down.

Spencer will spell out all the reasons they should skip something, so he may work to keep Esme away from Trina and her looming trial.

As for Sonny, he’ll be glad he ran into someone.

That could be Spencer since Sonny will confront him on Monday’s episode, which could bring some clashing over the recent drama at the pool with Trina and Josslyn.

Sonny will cause a realization for Spencer, so this confrontation could actually turn into something helpful in the end.

At some point, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) night will get derailed, so they might also cross paths with Sonny.

Willow will tell someone there’s something they should know, so she may thank Sonny for helping her following her collapse and confirm her pregnancy.

When Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) pays Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) a visit, he’ll hint about making some changes in his life.

It looks like Valentin will throw himself a bit of a pity party, so Nina may dish out some tough love.

Whatever the case, Nina’s reaction will catch Valentin off guard.

It should give Valentin a lot to think about when it comes to his Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) dilemma as well as his romance with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will once again try to help Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), who’ll settle on an alternative as her only option.

It turns out Carly’s Metro Court problem will lead to a shocker during the week of July 11-15 since Nina will ultimately buy her half.

Nina’s well-intentioned offer will stir up plenty of trouble, so stick with us for all the latest GH updates and news.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly will continue to face consequences for her bad investment, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
