General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, May 23, tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will fear Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) big mistake while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) warns Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will also get some attacked news, so let’s discuss the drama that’s brewing in Port Charles.
Since Sonny now wants to throw his full support behind Nina in court, Dante will explain why he thinks that’s a bad idea.
Sonny already has a target on his back due to Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) fury and takedown vow, so Dante won’t want to see things escalate.
Plus, Dante may feel like there’s still hope for reconciliation at this point.
If Sonny goes against Michael in the courtroom, Dante won’t be so sure that hope exists anymore.
It looks like Dante will push Sonny to think about that before he gets on the stand and speaks on Nina’s behalf.
Meanwhile, Maxie will worry about the scandalous article that was published and the punches that might get thrown in court.
However, Nina is fired up and will be ready to throw a few punches herself if need be.
Next, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will get into a heated confrontation with someone at the yoga studio.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) won’t have a positive reaction when she’s ambushed there, so Britt may be the one who launches the fight.
Since Britt is on “Team Nina,” she may have some harsh words regarding the article and looming court battle as well.
Britt will wonder if there’s really no other way to fix the situation, but Carly will stand her ground.
As for Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), Britt will also have an opportunity to quiz him about working for Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and whether he likes his job.
Brad may admit the money is good, but Selina can certainly be intimidating – and sometimes Brad seems in over his head!
At GH, Chase will get updates from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), who’ll admit he thinks he knows who’s been harassing Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
When Finn confesses that it’s Liz herself, Chase will be thrown for a loop – especially once he realizes that means Liz was responsible for his attack.
Liz will undergo an examination and some tests, but she’ll remain concerned as she waits for the results.
Although Liz will worry that she’s losing her mind, her behavior seems to be the result of unresolved grief and a bad reaction to sleeping medication.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will fret over the Linc Brown (Dan Buran) situation and just won’t see any way out.
Linc is pushing Brook Lynn to re-sign and owns her songs based on their previous contract.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) may find out about all this and warn Brook Lynn not to get tangled up with Linc again.
Linc has proven he’s nothing but trouble, so Brook Lynn needs to be careful!
After TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) makes a discovery in Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) personal effects, he’ll determine that he’d better tell Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
TJ will admit he found something he wasn’t expecting and will reveal the truth about Marshall’s medication.
Curtis and TJ previously thought Marshall was just taking something for his blood pressure, but he’s actually on risperidone.
This antipsychotic drug is used to treat schizophrenia and mania episodes linked to bipolar disorder, so Curtis will begin to look at Marshall’s past with fresh eyes.
Marshall may have genuinely feared he was too dangerous to be around his family when he left.
It no doubt took some time for Marshall to find the right meds – and even then, he probably had an unnecessary sense of shame about his issues.
General Hospital spoilers say TJ and Curtis will extend their support to Marshall as he continues to recover from his injuries, so stay tuned.
