General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, October 3, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will receive crushing news while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gets grilled. Diane Jenkins (Carolyn Hennesy) will also wake up with some new hook clues, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
In Jacksonville, Carly will admit she’s been having trouble sleeping.
After Carly talks about a nightmare involving the cemetery where her adoptive mother is buried, she’ll want to get Diane on the phone and talk legal strategies.
That’s when Drew will drop the bomb about Diane being the latest hook victim.
Of course, Carly may once again wonder if she should rush home – just to be extra certain that her children are safe.
However, Drew can remind Carly that Sonny has supplied plenty of security.
The safest thing Carly could do is stay in Florida, so Drew will try to distract her by focusing on the task at hand.
Drew intends to use Aurora Media company to make some noise and hopefully stop the parkway that’s set to shut down the cemetery.
We’ll see Carly and Drew do some brainstorming, but she’ll still worry about Diane’s condition.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will battle concerns as well, but Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will have good news to report.
Diane will come through her surgery and wake up with a story to tell – at least once she’s alert enough to make sense of her memories.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will want to stop “The Hook” before he attempts another murder, but it’s a mistake to assume Diane’s attacker was a man.
Diane will ultimately recall some bracelets that jingled together and will remember a female face being under that hood.
Since Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will still be MIA, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be on edge. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) won’t get why Josslyn is so fixated on Dex, so Joss may confess that he could be in danger.
Josslyn and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) know how Sonny operates, so it’s easy to see why they’ll be looking for him.
Dante will quiz Sonny about his employee and where he might be holed up, but he’ll probably have a hunch that Sonny’s torturing the truth out of Dex somewhere.
At least Dex is in a holding pattern while Sonny does some fact-checking.
That doesn’t mean Dex is a free man, but Carver can’t start slicing anything until Sonny gives him the word!
Over with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth), she’ll have a favor to ask Sonny.
Kristina will really hope Sonny can come through for her on something, so he should cave in unless it’s something dangerous.
At Deception, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will seem bewildered as she tells Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) that she didn’t know where else to go.
Maxie will sense that Sasha could use a friend right now and may be able to relate to her since she lost her husband, too.
Perhaps Maxie will open up about Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) death and help Sasha as she deals with Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) own demise.
As for Finn, he’ll face Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) questions about Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara) and what their romance was like.
Liz will try to piece together what happened on the Mariana Islands and see how it fits in with the more recent story Finn told about his late wife.
In Pentonville, it looks like another inmate will come along and get rid of the prisoner who knocked out Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
Spencer will regain consciousness and end up surprised by the person who came to his rescue.
Will it be Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) or another inmate who saves Spencer?
Spencer will ask what this person wants in return, so Cyrus might hope for help getting in touch with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) again.
On the other hand, maybe Cyrus will just want the chance to get to know Spencer a bit better.
Cyrus is Spencer’s great-uncle – and he’s always wanted a loving family.
Just establishing a positive family connection with Spencer would be a win in Cyrus’ book.
Even if another character comes to Spencer’s rescue instead, it’s good to know he’ll have some added protection.
