General Hospital Spoilers Next 2 Weeks: Picnic Police Chaos – Carly’s Life at Stake – Sonny’s Had Enough

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 22 to September 2, tease that there’ll be some picnic police chaos after Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) life is at stake. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will also have a nightmare while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) decides he’s had enough.

During the week of August 22-26, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will get Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to assist on a scheme to steer Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) toward commitment.

Olivia will talk about a special drink that’s been in the family for quite some time and will show Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) how to make what’s supposedly a love potion.

Dante will change his mind – presumably after guzzling this beverage – so he may decide he’s done going slow.

Sam may down the love potion as well and agree she’s all in, so this could lead to the two of them living together or even getting engaged.

Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll wind up having a love potion glass himself – and that’ll lead to him professing his deep feelings for Brook Lynn.

After Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has an appointment at the hospital, she’ll face a tough choice and a difficult admission.

Willow will have to decide whether she’ll risk her baby’s life by starting treatment now or delay her chemo and risk the cancer spreading.

Of course, Willow will also have to relay this news to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so he’ll be stunned when he finally learns she has leukemia.

Over with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), she’ll be tempted to come clean to Spencer about Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) sleeping with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

Spencer will learn some form of the truth later, so he’s not going to be too happy with his father.

Nikolas and Ava will bicker at the upcoming picnic, but could the danger that’s looming lead to a close moment?

Some danger is indeed about to interrupt at this event, but let’s finish setting the stage first.

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will strengthen their connection while Carly finds herself falling harder for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Carly will try to remind herself it’s a bad idea to move beyond friendship with Drew, but that dangerous situation we mentioned could be a game-changer.

Once Carly and Drew’s lives are on the line, it could make them rethink a few things.

The question is: Who will be behind this picnic disaster? Mason (Nathanyael Grey) just showed up to harass Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and made a big deal about attending this picnic, so it’s possible he’ll carry out the boss’ dreadful orders.

Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is another option since he’ll deliver a warning to Ava around this time.

It’s possible Victor will try to eliminate Ava despite Nikolas’ wishes, though the plan will obviously go awry if that’s the case.

Whatever the case, the cops will grill plenty of picnic-goers and try to figure what really happened.

Since there’s been a lot of talk about the explosion Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) got hurt in lately, maybe there’ll be a bomb or some other scary drama.

On a lighter note, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will become attracted to someone special.

It sounds like a new love story could be on the horizon for Terry, so that’s great news.

In the meantime, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will have another shocking flashback, so that’ll hopefully lead to more details about her past trauma.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) seemingly reached out to Liz’s sister, Dr. Sarah Webber (last played by Sarah Laine), and will need to confess that sooner or later.

During the week of August 29-September 2, Liz will open up to Nikolas and get an outsider’s opinion on everything she’s dealing with.

Nikolas is a friend, but he’s not as close to the situation as Finn is – and that could take some of the pressure off.

Trina will also await some important updates, so there’s a chance Rory will be injured in all the picnic mayhem.

It’s easy to imagine GH writers using that to pull Trina further in Rory’s direction – though an injured Spencer is also a possibility.

Either way, Spencer will eventually have a disturbing nightmare.

That could involve something like Trina marrying Rory – or maybe Spencer’s nightmare will be a truly terrifying one involving Esme.

If Spencer finds out about the parapet incident by then, he might dream Esme’s back for revenge.

Back with Brook Lynn, she’ll answer the PCPD’s picnic questions before giving Drew some tough love.

Brook Lynn will think Drew needs to seize the day and move forward with a Carly romance, so we’ll see if she can convince him to make something happen.

As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), they’ll strike a deal.

Following the picnic catastrophe, Anna might be done with all the games.

Anna may decide she can accept whatever version of the truth Valentin’s willing to provide, but she may hope he’ll respect her enough to actually come clean this time.

Finally, Sonny will fume over his family’s treatment of Nina.

We’ll see Sonny take a stand and voice how fed up he is, but it’s doubtful much will change anytime soon!

As other GH details emerge, we’ll keep you posted. General Hospital spoilers for the next two weeks point to some great action, so stay tuned.
