General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will ultimately have a tense reunion. This determined Cassadine may want to finish the threat off after he gains an advantage, but Esme will prove quite resourceful.
It turns out Esme will resurface during the week of October 3-7, so fans will see her around Port Charles.
Esme will lurk and eavesdrop, which will give her a chance to gather information and do a little more plotting.
Of course, it was incredibly dangerous for Nikolas to make that video confession about Esme’s murder.
Nikolas admitted to pushing Esme over the parapet and offered up plenty of motives, including revenge.
Things won’t go well for Nikolas if that video lands in the wrong hands, so it seems likely GH writers will let Esme end up with it.
There’s some talk in spoilers about Esme’s secret weapon of Cassadine destruction, so that could involve a video confession insurance policy.
If Esme scores that video, she might arrange for it to be widely released if Nikolas tries to kill her for good this time.
Esme could work out an arrangement with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) or even her old nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald.
The week of October 10-14 will bring a moment where Nikolas freezes. Something will force Nikolas to stop what he’s doing and take notice.
That could mean Esme will choose to reveal herself to Nikolas after working behind the scenes to gain power over him.
Soon after, Nikolas will make a move for control, so he might threaten to kill Esme and silence her permanently.
That’s when Esme might reveal her own advantage instead – and it could be that video since there’ll be some sneaky opportunities for Esme between now and then.
We mentioned that Esme will be lurking around and overhearing things she shouldn’t.
Esme may wind up stealing things she shouldn’t as well if she snatches Ava’s phone and scores the recording.
Bottom line, there’s a reason the writers had Nikolas make an incriminating confession.
It’s bound to serve as leverage for someone – and who better to score a murder confession than the “murder” victim herself?
Whatever the case, Esme and Nikolas are on the verge of reuniting, so you can bet that’ll bring some tense scenes.
