General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may drive a hard bargain when the time comes. Based on the leukemia story and how it’s playing out so far, Nina is likely going to be the life-saving bone marrow donor match that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) needs.
Let’s consider for a moment where GH writers might go from here.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will probably keep at it until he untangles this birth mom mess and discovers Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) went to great lengths to hide the truth.
From there, Willow may be the first to find out Nina is her biological mother.
That could leave Willow pretty horrified early on like Carly expects her to be.
Nina is the last person Willow would ever want for a mom, so her initial reaction may be one of shock and anger.
Nevertheless, Willow will eventually come to realize that Nina is her best shot at a bone marrow donor match and have to play a bit nicer.
The problem is things are about to escalate when it comes to Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) war with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
That could certainly add to the already awful drama between Willow and Nina.
During the week of December 26-30, Sonny will strike a deal that could prove dangerous.
It sounds like Sonny will make that illegal shipment arrangement official – the one Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) plans on using for his boss’ takedown.
Michael would like to put Sonny behind bars – and the show has hinted about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) being the one to make the arrest.
What if Sonny lands in the slammer right before Nina’s asked to save Willow’s life?
That could put Nina in a position to do some negotiating. Nina might warn Michael to find some way to get Sonny off the hook for his crimes or else she won’t cooperate.
Perhaps Nina will also demand Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) visits in writing and put that on a list of formal demands.
Nina may be angry enough to play hardball considering Willow told her to drop dead not too long ago!
Sonny’s freedom and access to Wiley may be what Nina wants in exchange for rescuing Willow.
If Willow expects to get the life-saving bone marrow she needs, she may have to make some updates to her attitude along with some compromises.
The same goes for Michael, so we’ll see how things go down after the birth mom news comes out.
