General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will plant a listening device to trick Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), so she’ll carry out a sneaky plan to score Peter August (Wes Ramsey) info and save Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Liesl will no doubt be relieved to learn Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) was found safe and sound.
Maxie made the ultimate sacrifice by convincing Peter they had to leave their daughter behind.
The downside is that now Maxie is under Peter’s control and remains in extreme danger.
Obrecht will vow to do whatever it takes to bring Maxie home – and that includes work with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) on a new plot.
Austin will threaten Victor with a syringe, but the thought of Austin being menacing is laughable.
Victor won’t take the threat seriously, so he’ll shut down Austin’s attempt to pry Peter information out of him.
However, Victor will be in a tricky situation when it comes to Liesl.
Victor is always going to have a soft spot for Obrecht – not to mention he’ll still want to use her for his Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) project.
Victor will realize he has to be careful and try to get Liesl on his good side somewhat.
As for Obrecht, she’ll plant a bug and hope to listen in once Victor’s guard is down.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will overhear something shocking during the week of February 14-18 according to GH spoilers.
Perhaps Britt will eavesdrop through the listening device Liesl plants. Britt will feel the need to act fast, so that could be related to all the Peter and Maxie drama.
Victor might offer some clue about Peter’s whereabouts if he secretly had him followed.
Regardless, learning Peter’s location will indeed be Liesl’s goal since finding Peter will also mean finding Maxie.
Unfortunately, Victor wasn’t born yesterday and just might manipulate Liesl through the planted bug.
There’s the potential for this plot to go off the rails and be a total bust.
Even so, Obrecht can’t stand by and do nothing, so it’s good that she’ll at least try to bring Maxie back home to her daughter.
