General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) may demand Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) be dropped as the face of Deception. Will Selina deliver an ultimatum that rocks the boat with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?
After Sasha’s live TV appearance turned into a total disaster, Selina swooped in and saved the day.
Ms. Wu saved Deception from a lawsuit by standing up to Haven de Havilland (Morgan Fairchild), which left Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) relieved and grateful.
However, Selina made it clear in the aftermath on the July 6 episode that she wasn’t acting out of the kindness in her heart.
Ms. Wu’s move wasn’t about sparing Sasha more pain; it was about making sure Selina sees a return on her investment as a shareholder.
Selina warned that Lucy had better get in control of her talent or else there’d be consequences.
Since Selina is someone who’s willing to follow through on her warnings, it’s wise to take her seriously.
During the week of July 11-15, Sasha will worry about the fallout of her on-air meltdown.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will push Sasha to see that she needs real help, but Sasha will fixate on the Deception drama instead.
The fact that Sasha will fret over the company instead of herself isn’t a good sign.
That could mean Sasha will once again try to avoid dealing with her issues and set herself up for more trouble.
Of course, the fallout could indeed mean a financial hit for Deception, so Selina might make more threats.
This could even lead to Selina demanding that Sasha be fired or at least demoted.
Perhaps Selina will argue that Sasha just isn’t mentally and emotionally up for the challenge of being in the spotlight.
Selina only cares about her investment, so will she put Lucy in a terrible situation?
Could Selina deliver an ultimatum that leads to Sasha being forced out as the face of Deception?
If so, that could rock the boat in Selina’s partnership with Sonny.
GH viewers know how important family is to Sonny, so he won’t appreciate it if Selina is making demands regarding Brando’s wife.
Brando might smooth things over if he agrees with Selina about Sasha stepping down, but Ms. Wu could still ruffle Sonny’s feathers initially.
Regardless, it feels like Selina has been included in this Deception storyline for a reason.
There may be more Selina-related warnings to come, especially if Lucy can’t get a grip on Sasha and her fragile mental state.
