General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) arrest may follow Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) warning. Will Sonny’s next crime land the mob boss behind bars?
GH fans know Jordan isn’t messing around now that she’s recovered and has made her Port Charles comeback.
Jordan is ready to take down any criminals that land in her path, so she felt the need to put Sonny on notice.
Since Sonny had a little taste of the simple life in Nixon Falls, Jordan’s hoping that maybe he can settle down and avoid causing too much criminal drama in PC.
Sonny hinted that he might want something spicier, but Jordan warned that their past collaboration wouldn’t protect him.
Whatever happens next, Jordan insisted she wouldn’t look the other way – and that sounded rather ominous!
It could’ve been a hint from the writers about Sonny and Jordan’s looming war.
There may be some situation where Sonny commits a crime as mob bosses tend to do, which could lead to Jordan keeping her promise.
Jordan may indeed refuse to look the other way when evidence points at Sonny – especially without Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) around to help Sonny cover his tracks.
In that case, Sonny could easily get arrested and thrown in jail. Will Sonny become the next PC resident to go on trial?
This might be a good way to solidify Sonny’s romantic path forward.
It could pull Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) back in Sonny’s direction to support the father of her children and the man she still loves.
On the other hand, it could leave Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) more drawn to Sonny than ever and strengthen her bond with Sonny as she stands by him.
Regardless, there’d be some great dramatic potential to work with.
The show needs to pick a firm lane for Sonny, so this storyline would give them the opportunity to either move Sonny toward Carly again or give him a true fresh start with Nina.
It sounds like Sonny had better stay on guard and brace for the rocky road ahead!
