General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, January 27 – Peter’s Daughter Shocker – Maxie Confesses to Austin – Esme’s Game Blows Up

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 27, tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will face a daughter shocker while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) confesses to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) game will also bring some blowups, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.

At GH, Peter will seem skeptical when he seeks confirmation that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) found his daughter.

Victor just announced that he was there to keep his end of the bargain, but Peter will have his doubts that Victor has actually located Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt).

However, Victor should manage to convince Peter that he indeed knows where to find Louise.

Peter’s armed with powerful info, but he’ll surely want Peter to deliver Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) activation key before he spills anything more.

This could bring some bickering over which one will come clean first since neither Peter nor Victor can trust each other.

Of course, Victor may not intend on Louise landing in Peter’s hands, but even hinting about “Bailey Quartermaine” being Louise could be dangerous.

In Pautauk, Austin will push Maxie for answers about who she was talking to the night Louise was born.

Austin remembers hearing two voices and knows one of them belonged to Maxie, so she’ll scramble to craft a believable story.

Austin will remain calm and suggest his own theory of what went down. He might recall Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) story about Maxie having someone lined up to take Louise before plans changed.

After Austin gives Maxie a gentle nudge toward the truth, Maxie will seemingly surrender. She’ll claim she’s going to tell Austin what really happened.

Based on the sincerity of her voice in the preview clip, it looks like Maxie will indeed come clean about giving her daughter to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

Austin will hear quite a tale and want to help in any way he can.

As for Brook Lynn, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will continue to wonder about all her secrets.

Austin now suspects there’s no proof of Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) paternity and feels like Chase may be going along with the lie.

Valentin realizes an upstanding cop like Chase would need a good reason to back up Brook Lynn’s claims.

Even so, Valentin will stand his ground when it comes to getting revenge. He’ll make it clear to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) that Brook Lynn owes a debt that will be paid!

At the cabin, Esme will apparently move forward with her plan to drug the hot toddy mugs she’s about to offer up.

Esme pulled out a baggie of pills as she stood by the tray, so she’s on the verge of playing a dangerous game.

It turns out Esme will also suggest an actual game to Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

That could involve something like Never Have I Ever – or perhaps a round of Truth or Dare.

Whatever the case, Esme will manage to stir up plenty of tension just in time for nightfall.

Things are about to take a wild turn – especially thanks to the inclusion of Esme’s risky prescription meds.

Back at GH, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will run into Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and admit he needs some help.

Perhaps Brando’s willingness to make that admission will help Sonny see that there’s no shame in accepting support.

Sonny will be there for Brando during a difficult time and may consider confessing his own bipolar issues lately.

As for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she was able to get Sonny straightened out at the hospital, but she may continue to worry about Sonny not keeping up with his meds like he should.

Nina just ran into Carly as she prepared to do some yoga, but Carly obviously won’t want to stop and chat.

Even so, Nina will urge Carly to hear her out. She may mention at least some of the recent trouble with Sonny and push Carly to reach out to her husband before things escalate again.

Afterward, Carly will have an encounter with a frazzled Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).

Sasha will apparently have a bit of a meltdown and act like she can’t open up to anyone about her grief, but Carly will wonder how Sasha knows if she doesn’t try.

General Hospital spoilers say Thursday’s episode will bring some surprises, so stay tuned for all the bombshells happening across canvas.
