General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, July 28 – Nik’s Tearful Confession – Willow Begs for TJ’s Silence – Dante’s Next Sam Step

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, July 28, tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will make a tearful confession while Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) begs for TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) silence. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will also want to take the next step with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Port Charles.

At GH, Willow will push TJ not to say anything about her health issue in front of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

Of course, TJ would never violate Willow’s privacy like that and may assure her that he won’t spill about her elevated white blood cell count.

Until Willow can get some answers for herself through follow-up tests, she’ll choose to keep that unsettling news to herself.

In the meantime, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will surprise Michael and Willow with an admission.

Since Sasha already knows about Willow’s pregnancy, she’ll explain she overheard about the OB-GYN consultation and congratulate them on the baby.

There should be some awkwardness since Sasha’s own baby loss still stings, but she’ll try to be happy for Michael and Willow despite her own grief.

After Dante speaks with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about his career, it’ll get the detective thinking about his overall future.

Dante will surprise Sam by wanting to take the next step with her, so that’ll presumably mean living together if Sam’s on board.

At the courthouse, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will assure Diane Jenkins (Carolyn Hennesy) that she wants to take the stand.

When the time comes, Trina will be ready to defend herself.

However, it looks like there’ll be a couple of other witnesses first.

The ADA is counting on Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to testify, but there are other hints about a surprise witness popping up eventually.

That surprise witness could be Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who now realizes Spencer caught Esme with the same drug that Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) had in his system.

Whatever the case, Esme will apparently plan to go ahead and blow the lid off her Nikolas hookup secret.

We’ll see Esme smile as she says she’s so going to enjoy this.

There’ll also be another moment where Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) seemingly gives Esme a stern warning.

Ava may contend that Esme had better not make things worse for Trina on the stand if she knows what’s good for her.

That could lead to Esme dropping the betrayal bomb, but it’s also possible she’ll want to slip it in on the stand and do more public damage.

However, Nikolas will rush to Ava in hopes of confessing himself, which Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) admitted he was concerned about.

Ryan doesn’t want Nikolas to have an opportunity to come clean and score any points, but it’s doubtful it’ll matter anyway!

It’s not like Ava will give Nikolas a pass for any reason, so her fury will be unleashed no matter what.

Whether Esme reveals the truth or Nikolas whisks Ava away beforehand, the bomb is indeed about to drop.

Thursday’s GH preview video shows Nikolas crying as he confesses a huge mistake.

Nikolas will apparently admit to cheating with Esme and fight desperately for his marriage, but it should be a losing battle due.

As for Ava and Esme’s major faceoff, that’ll come later.

Esme and Ava’s hostility will take a dangerous turn during the week of August 1-5, so don’t miss what’s in store.

Next, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will assure Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that if he ever needs “something like that done,” then he’s Sonny’s guy.

Perhaps Dex will promise he had no qualms about beating up Felty (Brian Norris), but he’ll also think he can do so much more for Sonny.

Sonny may find out Dex talked Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into deleting the video and acknowledge that was helpful.

We’ll see Sonny become more impressed with Dex, so he’ll consider promoting him to be his Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) replacement soon.

General Hospital spoilers say Dex will ultimately find himself torn between his loyalty to Sonny and his loyalty to Michael, so stay tuned.
