General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, March 3 Update – Obrecht Sets Trap – Cameron Takes Blame – Maxie’s Romantic Move

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, March 3, teases that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will set a trap while Cameron Webber (William Lipton) takes the blame. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also make a romantic move, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.

For starters, it appears Liesl will be the one behind that mysterious phone call to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Anna will get riled over all the secrecy and won’t want to get caught up in whatever Obrecht has planned, but Liesl may argue that they have to celebrate Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) demise.

Since GH is highlighting the whole throwing club thing, Liesl may push Anna to toss some axes with her.

Obrecht has invited Anna to a place where people can smash things before, so this may be her latest idea to blow off any remaining Peter steam and rejoice now that he’s gone.

Anna may ultimately cave to Liesl’s pressure and hurl a few hatchets.

It looks like Anna may be glad she did since Obrecht will also have some Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) intel.

This well-meaning Liesl trap could bring a new lead for Anna and leave her increasingly concerned about the danger Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is in.

It won’t be long until Anna seeks Drew out to offer a warning about what could be brewing.

In the meantime, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) celebration will be interrupted.

They’ll realize Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is standing there, so things will take an awkward turn at The Savoy.

Despite Jordan’s pain over losing Curtis, she’ll plaster on a smile and pretend she’s fine with him living with Portia.

However, it’ll be obvious to Portia that Jordan is struggling.

Once Jordan heads out, Portia will reflect on her own experience in trying to get over Curtis.

Portia will know it’s not easy and will take pity on Jordan as she tries to move on.

Although Curtis will no doubt reassure Portia that he’s right where he wants to be, old flames are often drawn back together.

That’s especially true when there are snags in the divorce!

Cameron will cross paths with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and hold himself responsible for something. Cameron will suggest he can’t help but feel that this is his fault.

No matter what Cam’s talking about, this could bring some crucial memories back into play.

When Stella had her stroke, Cameron saw the warning signs and made sure she got to the hospital.

Cameron was a hero, but he also threw away a coffee-stained envelope – one that contained the divorce papers Stella stole.

GH writers may bring all that up again and confirm that Curtis is still very married to Jordan despite playing house with Portia!

Over with Maxie, she’ll give Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) the green light when it comes to moving out of the friend zone.

Austin will be tickled pink when Maxie wants to make up for lost time right away, so they might lock lips to seal the deal on their romance.

Meanwhile, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will give someone her full support, so that could involve more Liesl plotting or perhaps Austin and Maxie’s future together.

Since Britt has been Austin’s cheerleader when it comes to his pursuit of Maxie, she should be quite happy for him.

As for Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang), she’ll deliver some disturbing news to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).

Betsy will tell the truth – at least what she claims is the truth!

There’s a chance Betsy will confess to some or all of the Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) “haunting” drama, but it’ll be a lie if she holds herself solely responsible.

According to upcoming GH spoilers, guilty Jake Webber (Hudson Webber) will worry Liz won’t be able to get past his horrible actions.

Jake apparently had a hand in tormenting Liz, so it’s just a matter of whether he acted alone or perhaps worked with Betsy as an accomplice.

If Betsy wasn’t involved in the “haunting” mess at all, she may have a different confession to make.

Betsy is rather off her rocker, so she might claim Franco is alive and has reached out to her.

Liz has already been concerned about Betsy pretending Franco isn’t dead, but Betsy may insist she’s not pretending.

Maybe Betsy will prove she’s as unstable as everyone thinks with some crazy Franco back-from-the-dead story.

Whatever the case, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will keep an eye on Jake and continue to suspect that he was involved in his mother’s terror.

Liz is in for a shock down the road, so we’ll deliver more updates as they come in.

General Hospital spoilers say this Franco mystery will bring more turmoil to Liz’s family, so don’t miss what’s in store.
