General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, November 17 Recap – Holly Wore Anna Mask To Shoot Lucy – Liz’s C-Section Tricks Esme

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 17, reveals that an Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) mask was used for Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) murder plot – and Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) C-section trick scared Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) into exposing her fake crisis.

At the Metro Court, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) stopped by Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) table.

After Sonny acknowledged what would’ve been Liam Corbin’s first birthday, he asked how the guardianship was going.

Sasha suggested it was a work in progress before Gladys tried to spin things regarding the recent Deception drama.

That led to Sonny speaking with Sasha privately and getting her to admit Gladys tried to block the deal.

However, Sasha knew Gladys was a better guardian than some stranger.

Since everything worked out with the deal in the end, Sasha was OK with what happened and knew Gladys was just looking out for her.

At the bar, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) struggled to swallow her drink and was coughing when Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) appeared.

Brad offered to get lozenges, but Britt wanted to focus on having drinks and dancing.

After Selina Wu (Lydia Look) waltzed over, Brad was surprised when Britt stood up to her and gave her an attitude.

Selina seemed pleased over Britt being protective and sauntered off, but Brad wondered what had gotten into Britt.

Once Britt admitted Selina blackmailed her, she said that was why she pushed Brad to take a job with his aunt.

Brad didn’t mind since he liked the job and urged Britt to reveal what else was bothering her, but she dragged him off to party elsewhere.

Next, Selina spoke with Gladys, who suggested she was a Deception investor due to the guardianship situation.

What was Sasha’s was now Gladys’ in the court’s eyes – at least that’s how Gladys saw it.

Selina wound up giving Gladys a card that would grant her entrance to one of her poker games, so Gladys hid that card from Sonny when he returned.

Sasha also popped up and hugged Gladys for always having her best interests at heart.

Meanwhile, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) offered to bring Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) some soup over the phone and suggested a lot of people were risking their lives to find Lucy.

Laura met up with Robert and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) while she waited for her to-go order, so that led to a conversation about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Holly had an emotional outburst about people being used and not realizing until it was too late.

After Holly insisted Anna wasn’t responsible for Lucy’s disappearance, she added that she’d stake her life on it.

Laura asked if Holly knew something they didn’t, but Holly acted like she just remembered the kind of woman Anna was and excused herself to get some air.

Although Laura knew Robert loved Holly, she once again urged him to see that Holly was hiding something.

Outside alone, Holly flashed back to the night of the shooting, when she pumped those bullets in Lucy and took off the Anna mask that’d been concealing her identity.

At the PCPD, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) brought Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) a hoagie from Sal’s and got updates on the Anna investigation.

Sam felt confident that Anna was far away from Port Charles and hard at work on proving she was framed.

At Wyndemere, Elizabeth warned Nikolas Cassadine (Maurice Benard) that they needed an ambulance since Esme was in danger of miscarrying.

Nikolas insisted they couldn’t take Esme to the hospital, so Liz urged him to get a knife so they could prepare for a C-section without anesthesia.

Although it was too early, Liz acted like it was the only option.

Once Elizabeth suggested there was a 50-50 chance Esme and the baby would make it, Esme jolted up and warned Liz away from her.

Liz revealed that she’d tricked Esme, who clearly wasn’t in real distress.

Downstairs, Elizabeth told Nikolas this was a one-time favor and was eager to get back to her conversation with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

Nikolas pointed out it was too late for Liz to tell the cops anything since she was part of this now.

Elizabeth asked if Nikolas was threatening her, so he denied it – though he thought that Esme could lie and make her an accessory to kidnapping.

Liz worried she’d eventually become an accessory to murder if Nik took Esme to Cassadine Island as planned.

Nikolas claimed he would let Esme life out the rest of her days there, but Elizabeth insisted there was an alternative.

Liz promised she wouldn’t say anything to the PCPD about Esme. In return, Elizabeth wanted Nikolas to forget about flying Esme to Cassadine Island.

Instead, Liz said Esme would give birth there at Wyndemere and acknowledged that Nikolas would need a nurse.

Back in the north tower, Esme didn’t know what hurt worse: her back or her wounded pride.

As Esme talked to “Ace,” she felt the baby kick and laughed over becoming a soccer mom.

That led to Esme having a moment of genuine emotion as she cried happy tears over her baby.

General Hospital spoilers say Esme will remain stuck at Wyndemere for now, but she’ll undoubtedly get back to scheming soon.
