General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, September 1 Recap – Ava Awakens & Spills Story to Jordan – Nik & Victor Caught Lying

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 1, reveals that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) awoke and spilled her story to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) also got caught lying, so here’s how all the action went down.

At GH, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) got help for Ava after her monitors beeped wildly.

The doctor noted that Ava’s blood pressure had dropped, but he also said she was given some meds and should wake up soon.

Jordan questioned Victor about where he was when Ava was attacked, so he claimed he was with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

The commissioner pointed out that a Quartermaine staff member said Spencer was alone.

Nikolas already claimed he was with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) when the attack happened, so Jordan was suspicious since no one could verify Victor’s whereabouts.

In a moment alone with Spencer, Victor complained about Jordan and acted like she’d be dealt with if this kept up.

Spencer threatened to tell Jordan about Nikolas sleeping with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), but Victor forcefully warned him not to divulge any Cassadine family matters to the cops.

In Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) hotel suite, he admitted to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that he was working for Victor because of Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McLain).

Charlotte was being kept at a high-security boarding school – and Valentin genuinely feared for her safety if he didn’t cooperate.

Valentin confirmed he was the French captain who helped frame Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier), but he warned that this had to stay between them.

Anna insisted they would make sure Charlotte was safe and put an end to Victor as a team.

At The Savoy, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) congratulated Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) on their engagement news before Curtis quizzed Drew alone.

Drew brought Curtis up to speed on the latest Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) romantic developments.

Although Drew was ready to move forward, Carly pumped the brakes to sort out her life.

Curtis acted like Drew should do the same and helped him see that he could give Carly the time she needed.

Meanwhile, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) got updates from Carly, who didn’t want to use Drew as a crutch.

Bobbie pointed out that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had been Carly’s safety net no matter what, but Drew might not be as accepting of certain impulses and decisions.

Carly flashed back to the DNA results that proved Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological mother.

Although Bobbie supported Carly and Drew’s romance, Carly was hesitant to risk the friendship.

There was talk about the career seminar in Aruba that Carly had decided to skip, which Bobbie wanted her to attend and kick off her new path.

Carly later looked at the pamphlet and seemed to change her mind.

Back at the hospital, Ava woke up and looked scared at the sight of Nikolas.

Jordan wondered if Ava was up for questions, so she decided she was – though Nikolas kept trying to get rid of the commissioner.

Ava admitted to having a fight with Nikolas before she wandered toward the boathouse.

This troubled Jordan since Nik previously denied that Ava had been upset, but he did his best to cover.

Ava acted like the fight was about Spencer and eventually spoke to Nikolas alone about the stabbing.

Although Nikolas felt he should’ve been there for Ava in her time of need, it became obvious she didn’t trust him.

Nikolas thought Ava had to know he wouldn’t have done something like this – no matter how angry he was.

Ava ultimately said she was tired and shut down the conversation, but she remained suspicious.

Elsewhere at the hospital, Trina hugged Portia and wanted to cancel the party they had planned for her.

Portia didn’t think Ava would want that, so Trina decided the party would stay on.

Trina later mentioned going to get some of Ava’s things for her since she’d been staying at the Metro Court. Jordan heard that Metro Court tidbit and seemed quite intrigued.

Next, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) told Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that Nikolas had lied and that she couldn’t remember what happened.

Liz worried that maybe she perceived Ava as a threat and attacked her like she’d done with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Finn reassured Liz, who came clean about missing time and feeling like when she was on the sleeping pills.

After confirming that she wasn’t taking any, Liz talked about those teenage memories of fighting with a woman about her father.

Elizabeth also felt that when she was confronted about the buried trauma, it triggered these incidents.

Although Liz feared something was wrong with her, Finn made it clear that wasn’t the case and vowed that they’d deal with this trauma together.

General Hospital spoilers say Liz has some shockers ahead of her, so stay tuned.
