General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, September 29, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will suspect Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) deception while Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has a new job to do. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will also face a crushing blow, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
First, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will give Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) a stern warning.
Portia already assumes Jordan is threatening to blab if she doesn’t come clean, but Jordan will think the paternity truth will come out one way or another.
Jordan will insist that this secret will come back to haunt Portia one day, so she’ll urge her to do the right thing and be honest with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about Trina being his biological daughter.
Speaking of Trina, she’s undoubtedly confused now that Ava has announced she can’t be her boss anymore.
Ava will come up with some story and try to spin this into something positive for Trina, but it’ll still be a tough blow since Trina loved working at the gallery.
Of course, Curtis is the one who put Ava up to this since the attacker is still on the loose.
This is just about keeping Trina safe, but it’s also another example of Curtis overstepping.
Trina already feels like Curtis treats her like she’s a kid, so she’s going to be furious when she inevitably figures out that he’s behind this.
In the meantime, Mason (Nathanyael Grey) will note that it’s Austin’s turn to do some heavy-lifting.
Austin may object, but Mason will stand his ground and perhaps direct the doc’s attention to the mysterious patient he previously predicted would show up.
Back at Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll keep up her efforts to convince Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is a great guy.
Maxie will urge Cody to just give Mac a chance to prove himself and will promise that Cody won’t regret it.
At GH, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) just told Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that he’s behind Society Setups, but he also revealed he could end up in federal prison if that news gets out.
Sam will find out all the details of Spinelli’s illegal information gathering soon enough, so she’ll push him to shut the service down ASAP.
However, Spinelli will be reluctant to walk away from such a successful venture, even though the risks are high.
At the PCPD, it looks like Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will suggest that in this case, Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) instincts could be right.
Joss is struggling to believe that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is guilty, so she’ll work with Dante to hopefully point the finger elsewhere based on a new discovery.
Michael has also cornered Sonny to seek answers about Dex, but Sonny is starting to get suspicious.
We’ll see things escalate as Sonny tries to find out why Michael thinks Dex is innocent or even cares what happens to him.
Over with Dex, he’ll maintain that he’s not the killer and brace for Carver’s torture tactics.
Sonny brought this guy in since he comes highly recommended by the Wu family and tends to get results.
Carver has already pulled out his knives, but he’ll apparently start by throwing buckets of water on Dex as he tries to wear him down.
The problem is that Dex is telling the truth about the attacks, but Sonny can tell he’s hiding something.
It’s giving Sonny the wrong idea when Dex’s real secret is that he works for Michael!
General Hospital spoilers say Michael will try to get Dex out of this jam, but it won’t be easy with Sonny all riled up.
