General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, September 29 Update – Sam’s Panicked Plea – Dante Follows Trail – Ava’s Plan Fails

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, September 29, teases that Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) plan will fail while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) follows an evidence trail. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also deliver a panicked plea to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), so here’s what fans can look forward to.

Spinelli just confessed that he could wind up in federal prison over Society Setups, so Sam will push for more answers.

After Spinelli talks about all the system breaches and privacy violations associated with his service, Sam will plead with him to shut the whole thing down immediately!

Over with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), he’ll be forced to endure another meeting with Mason (Nathanyael Grey).

Mason mentioned that a patient would be coming to GH – one that Austin needed to take a special interest in.

It sounds like that patient will finally arrive, so Mason will expect Austin to do what he’s told.

Mason has mostly been the one carrying out the boss’ orders, but he’ll think Austin needs to step up and do some real work now.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will remain wary of Mac Scorpio (John J. York), but Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) won’t think her stepdad has been given a fair chance.

If Cody will just hear Mac out and open his mind, Maxie will feel confident they can build a nice bond.

At the police station, Dante will continue a strange line of questioning.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) couldn’t remember whether Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was wearing his dog tags when Ava got hooked, but she recalled Dex’s jeans and white shirt.

Now Dante is focused on the fact that the shirt was clean. Dante will keep following his latest evidence trail with some help from Josslyn, who may have the right instincts on this case.

Joss’ first reaction was to insist Dex couldn’t be responsible. The more they dig into all this, the more Dante may believe Josslyn is correct.

At Pozzulo’s, Dex will face various forms of torture – starting with water and ending with knives if Carver has a chance to use them.

While Dex is trying to convince Carver of his innocence, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be blowing up at Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in the other room.

Michael seems way too interested in Dex and his well-being at this point, so Sonny will try to figure out what’s really going on. Since Michael will think Dex is innocent, Sonny will push to find out why.

Michael’s scheme with Dex could be in jeopardy, but they’ll do everything they can to come out of their tangled mess unscathed.

As for Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), she knows the kind of damage secrets can do, so she’ll push Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to come clean to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) before he finds out another way.

Portia has grown concerned about the possibility of Jordan spilling the paternity beans.

Whether Jordan would really do that or not, she’ll feel like Portia needs to confess or else the secret will come back to bite her.

Curtis is Trina’s biological father, but she has no idea and simply views him as an overbearing soon-to-be stepdad.

Unfortunately, Curtis is now showing just how bossy he can be when it comes to controlling Trina’s life.

Curtis convinced Ava to fire Trina for her own safety – at least while the crazy hook is running all over town.

It’s not a good idea for Trina to be hanging around the gallery or traveling to and from work since she could become a target.

Ava knows she’ll have to tackle this situation carefully. Although Ava already said she couldn’t be Trina’s boss anymore, Trina will protest and want more of an explanation.

Ava will play up some exciting opportunity and essentially try to dupe Trina into thinking this is something grand.

However, Trina will see through the strategy and express disappointment over having to walk away from a job she loves.

In other words, Ava’s positivity plan should flop and leave Trina suspicious.

Trina may ultimately sense that someone put Ava up to firing her, so it may not be long until she settles on Curtis as the culprit.

General Hospital spoilers say Curtis and Trina will face off in the not-too-distant future, so stay tuned!
