During the week of July 11, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) urges Trina to use her secret alibi. If Trina refuses, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) could sacrifice his freedom for hers.
Trina Robinson Changes Plea
GH spoilers reveal that during the week of July 11, Trina’s trial will begin. On the first day of the court case, there is a “change in defense.”
Now, this could refer to Trina changing lawyers but it’s more likely that the defendant changes her plea.
Instead of not guilty, Trina might think it’s better to plead guilty and get a lesser sentence.
That would also explain why Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) worries about Trina’s mental state.
GH Spoilers: Josslyn Jack’s Suggestion
That same week, Josslyn will encourage Trina to use her secret alibi. However, Trina might not want to do this.
For those that might not remember, when Esme uploaded the passion tape, Trina was in the cemetery with Spencer.
Even though Spencer was supposed to be locked up in Spring Ridge at the time, he was able to slip out to visit his mother’s grave.
Even though this could clear Trina, it would cause a lot of problems for Spencer.
Of course, Spencer would be willing to do anything to help save Trina at this point.
However, Trina still cares about Spencer very much. Despite everything that’s happened, she doesn’t want him to suffer so she can avoid prison.
Spencer Cassadine’s Sacrifice
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Trina will probably tell Josslyn that she won’t name Spencer as her alibi.
This could prompt Josslyn to take matters into her own hands.
If Trina suddenly changes her plea to guilty, it will be a race against the clock.
Josslyn could tell Spencer that the least he could do is identify himself as Trina’s alibi.
Chavez recently called Trina the love of Spencer’s life in an interview. Plus, Spencer sacrificing his own freedom to save Trina would offer him redemption.
The issue won’t be if Spencer will do it. Of course, Spencer won’t hesitate because time has officially run out and all of his other plans have failed.
However, it will be an issue of Spencer speaking up before the judge sentences Trina.
If anyone tries to question it, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will need to put her career on the line by admitting she can verify Spencer’s location on that specific date and time.
General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Prince Blindsided
It is teased that Esme is caught off guard. So, that suggests that Esme finds out that Trina has an alibi for the time that the video was uploaded.
Plus, with Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) tracking down the burner phone contact, Esme is about to be exposed.
