General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, August 2, tease that there’ll be a deadly Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) cover-up while Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) Peter August (Wes Ramsey) memory worries Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will also take her next medical step and try to figure out what she’s dealing with, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
First, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will speak to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about his Esme suspicions, so she’ll think they need to talk to Esme if he’s right.
That’s clearly going to be a little difficult considering Esme just flew off the parapet and into the dark water below!
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will search for Esme, but there’ll apparently be no sign of her.
Of course, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) didn’t mean to shove Esme over the edge, but she’s still the reason for her enemy’s presumed death.
That could give Nikolas some leverage if he wants to blackmail Ava into staying married to him.
Regardless, it seems Ava and Nikolas will make a pact of silence, so they may try to make it look like Esme simply skipped town.
Since so many others have survived falling off that parapet, this is obviously a fatal fake-out.
It’s a convenient way to take Esme out of the picture for a while and have her pop up later when Ava least expects it.
After Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) finishes her testimony, she’ll feel satisfied knowing she told the truth.
That said, Trina will also have to accept that her fate is out of her hands. The jury will begin their deliberations soon, so this will become a waiting game.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will want to approach Trina since she just admitted her feelings on the stand, but Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will try to block him.
Trina is dealing with enough right now, so Joss will acknowledge that Spencer did a nice thing and urge him to leave it at that.
At GH, Elizabeth will remain rattled by the Peter memory that just came back to her.
After Finn and Liz exchanged love declarations, she was suddenly hit by a flash of Peter in the stairwell.
It seems like there’s some kind of correlation between love and Liz’s trauma triggers.
Finn may grow concerned about that after Liz admits what happened, but she’ll snap at him for thinking she needs her head examined.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Liz will recall something new, so maybe another memory from her past will surface – perhaps something buried far deeper that related to her father, Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson).
Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll show up at the hospital and wonder where Willow dashed off to.
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will be in a tight spot when Michael starts asking questions, but he’ll avoid spilling any bad news.
Meanwhile, Willow will take charge of her health situation as she speaks with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).
Since Willow might have leukemia, she’ll need to know what she’s up against – especially for the sake of her unborn child.
