General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 2, teases that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will search for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) grills TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also warn Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), so here’s what GH fans can expect.
At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will panic over sending Esme hurling off the parapet.
Although Ava won’t particularly care about Esme’s well-being, she doesn’t want to find herself on the hook for her murder!
Nikolas will go on the hunt for Esme, but he apparently won’t find any trace of her.
Ava and Nikolas may assume Esme is dead following that tumble into the water, but it’s hard to believe that’s true.
Too many characters have survived falls off that parapet, so we have every reason to believe Esme will eventually show back up alive.
In the meantime, Nikolas could easy hold Ava’s actions over her head and potentially blackmail her to avoid a divorce.
Over with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll continue to work the Esme angle and hope to prove Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) innocence.
Curtis will be convinced Esme drugged Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) to cover up the truth about the black-market phone and video scandal.
After talking to Curtis, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will think she needs to find Esme for an interrogation.
Esme obviously won’t be available for one since she’s soaking wet who knows where by now!
Curtis will keep working hard to help Trina anyway – and he could get a lucky break since Oz will apparently wake up soon.
Next, Josslyn will warn Spencer away from Trina at the courthouse.
Spencer lit up when Trina confessed her feelings for him on the stand, but Joss won’t want him making a big deal about it in the aftermath.
Although Spencer did a good deed by coming clean about Trina’s alibi, Josslyn will think that’s enough.
There’s no need to approach Trina and add to the stress she’s already dealing with – at least that’s how Joss will feel about the situation.
As for Trina, she’ll ultimately realize there’s nothing else she can do to clear her own name.
Trina’s testimony will certainly seem compelling, but the jury will have to decide for themselves if they believe her side of the story.
Once Michael corners TJ at GH, he’ll be confused over what happened to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Michael won’t be able to find Willow anywhere, so he’ll quiz TJ about what he knows.
TJ may have to dodge some tricky questions to avoid violating Willow’s privacy.
Willow might have leukemia based on her latest test results, but that’s not TJ’s secret to tell.
Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have a consultation with Willow, who’ll demand to know what she’s dealing with.
Willow will want to know how this potential diagnosis could affect her baby and will hope to take the next step.
That next step will involve a bone marrow biopsy, so Willow will schedule one quickly.
It’s important to get some firm answers and figure out the right treatment plan ASAP.
Meanwhile, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will fret over Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) following her memory flash in the stairwell.
Liz remembered seeing Peter August (Wes Ramsey) after he tumbled, so she was visibly shaken.
Once Liz confesses to Finn, he may think this is a major warning sign. Elizabeth clearly hasn’t recovered as much as she’d like everyone to believe.
The fact that Liz had this setback after trading love professions with Finn is also troubling.
Liz can’t truly move forward until she deals with the trauma of her past.
Although Finn will express concern, Liz will take it the wrong way. From where Liz is standing, it’ll seem like Finn thinks she’s crazy.
However, Finn will just want to make sure Elizabeth gets the help she needs.
It looks like another memory flash could be coming up for Liz – and this time it may help her dig deeper into her history.
Liz seemingly has some daddy issues related to Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson), so maybe she can finally start getting to the bottom of those.
General Hospital spoilers say Finn’s heart will break for Liz as she tries to navigate all this, so stay tuned.
