General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, January 18 – Marshall's Heart Emergency, Rushed to GH - Jax’s House Put to Good Use

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 18, reveals that Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) was rushed to GH over a heart emergency while Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) house was put to good use. Here’s how things played out on Tuesday’s drama-filled episode.

At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was all dressed up for her date with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), but she couldn’t shake the feeling that something bad would happen if she went.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) heard about Liz’s wedding ring mysteriously appearing in her locker, but they considered some explanations and downplayed the drama.

With a little encouragement, Liz was ready for her big night with Finn.

Things were going well in Portia’s love life, so she talked to Terry about that and wanted to help her meet someone.

Terry hadn’t had much luck on dating apps, but Portia mentioned a new one she heard about from Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and put it on Terry’s phone. Later, Terry received a match.

At Jax’s old place, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) marveled over Jax refusing to let them pay anything.

After Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Finn helped them make the move, Finn joked about Brook Lynn and Chase bickering like an old married couple.

After Finn took off to prepare for his date with Liz, Dante quizzed Chase in private about what was going on with Brook Lynn.

Since Dante knew Brook Lynn had a good heart, he understood how Chase could get past her deception and perhaps have feelings for her.

Chase argued that nothing could happen with Brook Lynn since too much was at stake. He acted like maybe they weren’t each other’s type and suggested it was best to stick to co-parenting since Brook Lynn couldn’t be trusted.

Chase was adamant about moving in together just being about what was best for “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt).

Brook Lynn overheard that discussion, so she pushed Chase away after they were alone again. She reminded Chase that he wasn’t “Bailey’s” real father, so they needed to maintain boundaries.

Brook Lynn suggested Chase should work out like he planned to earlier, so she finally pressured him into leaving.

At the Port Charles Grill, Finn made an already awkward date with Liz even more awkward by asking about her parents.

However, Liz opened up a bit about the past before looking to the future. Finn admitted he hoped he was in that future.

Nearby, Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) insisted on splitting the bill right down the middle and told Marshall about her old guidance counselor urging her to become a nurse instead of a doctor.

Marshall wondered if Epiphany thought about what might’ve been, but her nurses were her family. She couldn’t regret attending nursing school instead of med school because of them.

Epiphany grew curious about what came between Marshall and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), but Marshall clutched his chest in pain and pulled the tablecloth down with him as he collapsed.

Finn and Liz rushed over to help Epiphany, so they all made a team effort to get Marshall to the hospital.

At The Savoy, Curtis got rid of a couple slick mob-looking guys and thought back to Marshall talking about trouble following him.

When Drew arrived, he got updates on Marshall spilling some parts of his past while still remaining cryptic.

Drew encouraged Curtis to consider the idea that maybe Marshall was genuinely trying to protect him by holding back.

As Drew was leaving, he encouraged Curtis not to make any decisions right away. Drew felt like Curtis had plenty of time, but Portia called Curtis soon after with the news of Marshall’s emergency.

At the boxing gym, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) expressed concern to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) not grieving properly. In fact, Brando worried that Sasha wasn’t grieving at all!

However, TJ thought it was possible Sasha had an outlet for her grief and was just choosing to be private.

TJ tried to help Brando understand that people grieved in all sorts of ways. TJ thought maybe Brando’s concern for Sasha was more about his own need to open up.

In yoga class, Sasha got fed up over Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) hounding her about Liam Corbin’s death.

Gladys didn’t think it was good for Sasha to bottle up her emotions, but Sasha grew frustrated enough to get up and walk out.

Nearby, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) heard about Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) confronting Peter August (Wes Ramsey) in hopes of seeing if he had any Louise info.

Maxie insisted Peter didn’t and was upset over Peter acting like Felicia was a bad mom.

Felicia acknowledged that some of what Peter said was true since she wasn’t there for Maxie the way she should’ve been.

Maxie argued they were way past all that, but she looked guilty when Felicia praised her strength over the missing Louise situation.

When Felicia brought up Maxie’s reluctance to head to Pautauk and relive the night Louise was born, Maxie shouted that she wasn’t going back to that cabin.

Maxie ended up stepping out in the hallway, where she crossed paths with Sasha and connected with her.

Sasha and Maxie could relate to not wanting to talk about the absolute worst day. All the pressure wasn’t helping.

Still, Maxie felt like Sasha shouldn’t push Brando and Gladys away since she’d need them at some point.

In a moment alone, Sasha received a text from Brando asking her to meet up for dinner, but she didn’t reply.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will keep trying to put one foot in front of the other, so stay tuned.
