General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, January 12, tease that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will have a secret behind bars while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fears Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is calling it quits. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also warn Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), so here’s what viewers can expect.
At GH, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will run into Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and use this as an opportunity to make amends – or at least try to. Brook Lynn will want to let bygones be bygones and may point out it would make Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) happy if they did.
Maxie is Austin’s weak spot, so Brook Lynn would be wise to exploit it if she can! In the meantime, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will have his own goal in mind. Martin will push Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to intercede with the DA – apparently on Tracy’s behalf.
Of course, Dante could be torn about that idea since it’d mean betraying Sam, who was the one who called for this arrest in the first place. Sam wants Tracy to pay for setting Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) up, so Dante will have a tough choice to make.
As for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), he’ll also pitch in on Tracy’s legal nightmare. While Tracy remains behind bars, Ned will ask questions and get vague answers. He’ll wonder why Tracy’s being so mysterious, so that part may tie in with Tracy’s recent baby discovery.
Tracy figured out that “Bailey Quartermaine” is actually Louise August and was ready to spill to Ned before her arrest. It seems Tracy has had a change of heart, so she’ll leave Ned puzzled over her cryptic comments and keep this storyline going strong.
Over with Alexis and Sam, they’ll focus on the future. However, Alexis will also make time to call in a favor from someone over the phone. That’ll give Sam a chance to get a few things straight with Harmony, who will remain in Alexis’ orbit.
Sam may rehash the horror that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) went through at DOD and point out that none of them will ever forget it. That said, Sam may acknowledge that talking to Harmony seems to help Alexis in the present.
Although Sam may be willing to tolerate Harmony, there’ll be a steep price to pay if she dares to hurt Alexis or anyone else Sam loves.
Across town, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will catch up with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), so that’ll bring some nice bonding moments. Olivia has patched things up in her marriage to Ned, but she’ll always consider Robert to be a great friend.
After getting a call from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will head right over to Crimson. He’ll probably assure Nina that her wish his command. Valentin has moved on with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but part of him still carries a torch for Nina and wants to please her.
Valentin may promise to do whatever Nina needs if it’s in his power. Nina will smile as she suggests she’s happy to hear Valentin say “that” – whatever that may be! This could lead to Nina digging her heels in on the visitation rights issue and seeking legal help to make sure she can indeed see Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver).
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) thinks it’d be a gesture of goodwill if Nina gave up her legal claim, but Nina certainly can’t trust Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to do his part. As a result, Nina may seek Valentin’s help preparing for another court battle if it comes to that.
Next, Sonny will have another emotional faceoff with Carly, who can’t stay in the same house with him right now. Carly needs time and space, but Sonny thinks they need to be under the same roof working together to solve their problems.
However, Carly isn’t so sure their problems can be fixed! Sonny will wonder if Carly really wants to call it quits, but Carly may reiterate that she needs this separation. It could be their relationship’s only hope for survival in Carly’s eyes.
Later, Olivia will get some surprising updates from Carly, so it’ll be good for Carly to get all this drama off her chest. Carly can vent and hopefully get some good advice since Olivia just got her own broken marriage back on track. We’ll fill you in as other GH news becomes available.
