General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, January 19 Update – Carly’s Rage Erupts – Sam Offers Do-Over

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 19, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) rage will erupt while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) gets confusing news. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also offer a do-over, so there’ll be plenty of action happening all over Port Charles.

Carly recently moved out of the Corinthos house and into a suite at the Metro Court. It looks like someone will track Carly down in her new dwelling place, but Carly apparently won’t appreciate the visit.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is concerned for Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), who’s stuck dealing with dangerous Aunt Selina Wu (Lydia Look).

Since Britt has made progress in her relationship with Carly somewhat, she may think Carly can talk to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and convince him to make Selina leave Brad alone.

Carly will lash out at someone in Wednesday’s GH episode. She won’t even have words for how messed up this is, so she may be offended over Britt asking favors for Brad – the man who kept Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) son from him.

Not to mention Carly has enough issues of her own to worry about!

Carly may toss Britt out eventually and suggest she’s on her own when it comes to helping Brad survive his mob family ties.

Over with Sonny and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), they’ll clash at the boxing gym.

Sonny still won’t be getting his regular lithium doses, so that should take even more of a toll on his behavior.

The result will be some exploding tension as Dante pushes Sonny to concentrate on his own life, which could obviously use some work these days.

Dante will try to guide Sonny down the right path, but Sonny will dismiss that guidance and act like it’s all wrong.

Sonny won’t be thinking clearly, but he’ll still act like he knows best when it comes to how to handle his marriage woes.

As for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll land at the boxing gym along with Dante and Sonny.

Chase will inevitably gripe about Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) shutting him out, but he doesn’t realize she eavesdropped on all the trash-talking he was doing to Dante.

However, an interruption will come soon enough – and that could send Chase back to the house to help with a crisis.

Brook Lynn will grow increasingly concerned after she hears a noise and feels a creepy vibe.

Brook Lynn may feel like someone’s lurking and worry about the possibility of “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August being at risk.

Chase will return and give Brook Lynn a shock, but she’ll be relieved once she realizes who it is.

Brook Lynn may scold Chase for leaving her to fend for herself, but he’ll remind her that she told him to go!

Still, Brook Lynn will admit she didn’t mean it. She was just hurt over what she overheard, but Chase may argue he was just putting on a show for Dante’s benefit and didn’t mean what he said – at least not all of it.

That said, Brook Lynn and Chase may agree that things will be less complicated for “Bailey’s” sake if they stick to pretending to co-parent.

Something tells us it’ll be tougher and tougher to stick to that arrangement now that they’re in such close quarters.

As for Sam, she’ll drop a hint about a do-over. If Sam’s talking to Dante, he should be on board with whatever Sam has in mind.

At the Port Charles Grill, Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) insecurities will get the best of her again. She’ll have all kinds of self-doubts swirling and may wonder if this job at The Invader can really give her a fulfilling future.

Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) always seems to pop up when Alexis needs her, so that may be the case on Wednesday’s episode as well.

Alexis could use another pep talk to keep her focused on building confidence and moving down the right path.

At GH, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will get updates on Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) health.

Marshall will soon be up and dressed, so he won’t stay hospitalized for long. He’ll have more than enough energy to rip into Curtis and push him to let the past stay buried.

We have to wonder if Marshall’s dramatic heart issues were even real since he didn’t seem keen on answering Epiphany Johnson’s (Sonya Eddy) questions about his history.

Then again, maybe Marshall has far bigger issues – perhaps even a deadly diagnosis that makes him less willing to waste time on a hospitalization.

Regardless, Marshall will continue to keep secrets and frustrate Curtis more than ever.

General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will try to figure out the puzzle of his mysterious father, but that’ll be easier said than done!

Finally, it looks like Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will accept Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) offer to finish their date, so hopefully they can end their night on a positive note.
