General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, November 16, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will apparently suspect Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is cheating while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) faces a phone puzzle. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will also seek answers from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about their romantic fate, so let’s discuss what’s coming up.
First, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will accept Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) offer to help track down her biological family, but she’ll have to fib a bit when he makes the wrong assumption.
Drew will insist he knows exactly why Willow is in such a hurry, but he’ll probably guess Willow wants to search before things get too crazy with the new baby.
Drew might also think Willow wants her birth parents to be part of this child’s life, but the truth is Willow needs a bone marrow donor match ASAP.
Of course, Willow and Michael should keep quiet about that as Drew kicks off his role in the investigation.
Later, Michael will find himself rather baffled, so that should be due to Leo Quartermaine’s (Easton Rocket Sweda) discovery.
Leo just found Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) dropped phone, so he may bring it to Michael.
Once Michael sees that it belongs to Dex, he’ll undoubtedly wonder what his secret accomplice was doing near the Quartermaine gatehouse and mull over where he is now.
Carly turned to Brick (Stephen A. Smith) for antibiotics, so she’ll return to Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) dorm room and pass them along for Dex’s infection.
However, Carly will warn Josslyn not to let her guard down. That goes for any Dex mob drama and the Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) situation since she still hasn’t been found.
Speaking of Esme, she decided her unborn child was her leverage and told herself she had to convince Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) it was “bye-bye, baby” – at least if this harsh treatment continues.
Nevertheless, GH spoilers say Esme will have a medical scare, so that could mean her crisis will suddenly become real.
Regardless, Nikolas will no doubt accuse Esme of faking this, but she’ll double over in pain and insist she needs help for the baby ASAP.
Since we know Nikolas will call on a friend for assistance, it makes sense that he’ll summon Liz and hope her nurse’s training comes in handy.
It turns out Liz may need a distraction anyway since she’s about to have a tough conversation with Finn.
Elizabeth will assume Finn can’t be with her anymore due to everything that happened with Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara), so we’ll see what Finn decides.
Until then, Nina will jump to the wrong conclusion again now that she spotted Carly entering a hotel suite with Brick (Stephen A. Smith).
Nina will wonder what Drew would think about this, but it seems she may realize Sonny’s view is the more important and rat Brick out.
Sonny will corner Brick for answers soon after, so Brick may admit he did a personal favor for Carly and hope his vague explanation is enough.
Although Sonny will accept Brick’s word, Brick will know Sonny doesn’t like it.
As for Nina, she really needs to stop assuming everyone in town is cheating!
Maybe another case of being wrong will teach Nina to start minding her own business when it comes to these so-called romantic entanglements.
