General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview for the week of July 5-8 tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will threaten to cut Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) throat while Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has a meltdown. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also shove Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) into the pool, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
The weekly preview kicks off with a fierce faceoff, which brings a violent warning from Valentin.
Victor wants Valentin to get Laura Collins (Genie Francis) out of their way, but Valentin’s failure to do so will lead to some tension.
Of course, that tension could escalate even further if Victor brings up Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and her suspicions regarding Valentin.
Victor may drop hints about taking drastic action if Anna gets too close to the truth about their secret plans.
It looks like Valentin’s protective side will come out as he threatens to cut Victor’s throat, so he may warn that’s what’ll happen if Victor dares to hurt one hair on Anna’s head!
Anna will grow increasingly concerned about Valentin and how deep he might be in with Victor.
Laura will ask Anna if everything is OK, so that’ll lead to a discussion about Valentin and whether he can be trusted with Anna’s heart.
The latest promo also features Liz flying into a rage and flinging a puzzle at Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).
Kevin’s Shadybrook visit will take an unexpected turn thanks to Elizabeth’s meltdown, but he’ll remain calm and try to settle Liz down as well.
We’ll see Kevin bring a surprise visitor to see Liz, so will that visitor anger her or perhaps be what calms her in the aftermath?
Regardless, Liz will continue to fight toward her recovery.
Next, Spencer and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) latest scheme will go wrong.
Josslyn will complicate things when she throws Spencer in the pool and shocks Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) in the process.
The goal was to score some DNA samples from Josslyn and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but that plot will take a wrong turn after Spencer’s wet tumble.
It looks like Josslyn will end up pretty wet herself, so this will become quite a mess – one that Carly will ultimately rip into Spencer for.
Meanwhile, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will tell Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) that it’s all falling apart.
It sounds like Olivia will fret over Carly losing her half of the Metro Court and her refusal to accept any help.
Carly will sob over the loss, but she’ll seemingly choose to take the hit and let the Metro Court go since a tough goodbye is coming up soon.
On Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) Home and Heart Channel appearance, she’ll deal with a bad combo of drugs and grief.
After popping pills, Sasha will be asked to model a baby carrier during the presentation, so she’ll freeze in that moment and cause some Deception drama live on the air.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will fear the worst as Sasha freaks, so this will bring a difficult conversation for the couple when the catastrophe’s over.
