General Hospital Spoilers: Week of May 23 Update – Esme’s Money Dilemma – Michael’s Game-Changing Testimony – Nik Grills Britt

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of May 23-27 teases that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will face a money dilemma while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) offers game-changing testimony. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will also grill Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.

In Brooklyn, Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) antipsychotic medication will be discovered, so TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will click some missing puzzle pieces into place.

Marshall will also get a surprise visitor, so Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) might get a call and make a beeline to support Marshall in the hospital.

Back in Port Charles, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will try to convince Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that testifying on Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) behalf is the wrong call.

However, Sonny will do what he feels is right and that should put him on the stand once court’s in session.

Nina will also work to make the judge see her as a desperate grandma who just wants time with her grandson.

There’ll be other witnesses who keep swinging this case back and forth in terms of who might win.

After Scott puts someone surprising on the stand to support Nina, Michael will undo any progress by ripping her to shreds.

It’s Michael’s testimony that’ll truly change the game and may cost Nina the visitation rights she’s looking for.

Meanwhile, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will worry about Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) as he offers comfort along with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Cam will end up crumbling a bit to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), but their emotional conversation will be derailed.

That could be Esme’s doing since she has a knack for popping up at the wrong time.

Britt will face Nikolas’ questions, so she might let something slip about Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) weird visit recently.

Nikolas will try to gather more info, but Britt may stonewall him on the pill identification being what Spencer wanted.

As for Spencer, he’ll be miserable when he spies Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) looking cozy with Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) – especially since Spencer will have to deal with some Esme drama later.

When he explains the trust fund deal, Spencer will point out that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is offering $10,000 a week if he’ll move out of Wyndemere permanently and take Esme with him.

That could lead to Esme acting like they should stay instead.

It could also leave Spencer wondering why she cares more about living at Wyndemere than their cash flow.

Naturally, Esme needs to stay close to Nikolas and carry out the rest of her seduction scheme.

It won’t be long until Esme finds Nikolas drowning his sorrows alone, so she may view this as the perfect opportunity to get him in bed.

While Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) wrestles with an important choice and gets Terry Randolph’s (Cassandra James) input, Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) will listen in on the conversation.

Amy would much rather see Chet date someone other than the boss she doesn’t get along with, but Chet will already be falling hard for Terry.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will continue to feel cornered by Linc Brown (Dan Buran), but she’ll put her own issues aside briefly and try to settle some Quartermaine family conflict happening due to the merger.

In the park, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will let Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) get under her skin regarding The Invader – though there’ll definitely be an intriguing attraction happening along with the friction.

While Britt gears up for a disastrous Society Setups event at the Metro Court pool, Ava and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will flatter each other elsewhere.

Victor will play a dangerous game with Ava – one that could get a lot more serious once her marriage to Nikolas eventually falls apart.

General Hospital spoilers say some romantic curveballs are still to come, so stay tuned.
