General Hospital Spoilers: Will Carly Find Morgan in Jacksonville – Son Alive for Surprise Reunion?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) could find Morgan Corinthos (last played by Bryan Craig) in Jacksonville. Will Carly realize her son is alive for a surprise reunion?

Carly feels like she’s lost her way due to all the upheaval in her life, so she’s trying to find a path forward.

However, it seems like the point of this Jacksonville story is to show that sometimes you have to revisit your past first.

Carly has buried some painful things in her history that she’s now being forced to address.

Running into Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl) no doubt stirred up a lot of difficult emotions.

Of course, Peyton and her Jacksonville Beautification Guild are to blame for getting the ball rolling on the new parkway, which is shutting down the cemetery where Carly’s adoptive mom is buried.

Carly refuses to let Virginia Benson (Lois Nettleton) be moved from her final resting place, so that gives her a reason to stick around Jacksonville and fight.

Even so, we have to wonder if Carly’s journey of self-discovery could lead to an even bigger discovery.

Doesn’t all this cemetery stuff seem like much ado about nothing? If GH writers want viewers to care about that, they’re going to have a hard time making it happen.

This whole Jacksonville story is going to be a boring flop unless there’s something big waiting at the end of it.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will join Carly as love blooms, but that’s not enough. We need to get some real high-stakes drama out of this.

That brings us to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) confession to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) in the September 23 episode.

Sonny reflected on how he never got a chance to say goodbye to Morgan and specified that there was no body to bury

That left Sonny without any kind of closure, so he admitted he still scanned crowds looking for Morgan.

Sonny opened up about his loss and just wished he could see his boy one more time.

That was perhaps the most blatant setup the show’s ever made for a Morgan Corinthos return.

It certainly feels like the kind of dialogue that would lead to Morgan’s back-from-the-dead arc.

It’d be a great twist if an amnesiac Morgan is living in Jacksonville.

Now that Carly is working through the pain of the past, maybe there’s a chance to undo at least a little of that pain with a Morgan reunion.

Perhaps the show is finally ready to recast Morgan and let Carly cross paths with him when she least expects it.

Will Carly find Morgan and bring him home to Port Charles down the road?
