In tonight’s Law & Order Organized Crime episode, Detective Stabler still thinks about Frank Donnelly. Donnelly was more than just a case to him. He was a good friend and a great cop. He was also a corrupt cop. Which is why Stabler tried to arrest him. Donnelly killed himself before he could be arrested and it left Stabler without closure. Stabler went on to testify against the Brotherhood. The Brotherhood was the league of dirty cops. Stabler’s testimony will put many of them behind bars. But testifying put a target on Stabler’s back. There were a lot of cops who thought Stabler was traitor for what he did. They felt that he should have backed his fellow cops no matter what.

It didn’t matter to them that these people were dirty. Or that they were breaking the same laws they were supposed to uphold. There were still cops willing to defend them. There were also journalists who felt Stabler didn’t have the moral high ground to judge other cops. Stabler spoke to the only one daring enough to say that to his face. He said he upholds the law no matter what. Stabler also got a call from a member of SVU. Detective Rollins said both mother and daughter were raped during a home invasion. She asked Stabler to step in because the men who broke in were cops.

Stabler later questioned the mother. She told them that the cops came in wearing masks. They had guns and were in armor. She never got any kind identification on who they were. They covered their tracks pretty well. But Stabler informed Sergeant Bell about this case. They questioned if someone had brought back the Brotherhood and Stabler didn’t think so because rape wasn’t usually involved. The Brotherhood was always focused on cash. They didn’t harm drug dealers’ families yet that’s what this new crew was doing. Stabler visited the victim’s homes. And he found out the son/brother of the two victims was a drug dealer.

It was another crew that robbed him. They were simply dressed as cops. The bullet casings proved that there weren’t any real cops involved. They weren’t carrying police issued guns. They were carrying around semi-automatics. They were simply a crew. They broke into drug dealers’ homes dressed as cops and robbed them and they would also rape any woman they could find in the house. None of the victims had gotten a good description. The only thing they could describe was the guy in charge’s eyes. They were a very striking blue. Stabler and his unit took over the case once they realized an organized crew was involved.

They were looking for evidence amongst their CIs when they heard about another robbery. This time they killed a woman rather than raped her. It turns out one of the guys in the robbery crew had tried to stop the rape. He said the guy’s name. The woman overheard it and that’s why she was killed. But her brother overheard the scuffle. He stayed down until the crew left. He then called it in and Stabler and his team responded. Jet took what she found at the scene to eventually find a suspect. His name was Manny. He didn’t run things. That was another guy and so Manny was just a hired gun.

The crew apparently called themselves the Robin Hood. They stole from the wealthy drug dealers and gave to themselves. The guy who spoke out against the rape was new to the crew. Dante just got out of prison and he hooked up with his foster brothers because he thought he was getting in on a get rich quick scheme. He didn’t know rape was involved until he overheard that woman’s screams. He had signed off on robbery. He didn’t sign off on rape. He tried to convince the leader to never do it again. He reminded him about what happened to them when they were in the foster care system. And still the leader refused to waver from his stance. And so Dante went out for drinks with Manny to blow off some steam.

Jet went to that bar. She dressed up in a great dress. She also made a move on Manny. She got close enough to clone his phone and so the detectives found out about another heist. They went to the scene on the night in question. They tried to fire at the crew. They called for backup and the backup police tried firing at Stabler and Bell. Which Stabler thought was suspicious. Stabler thought those cops were trying to kill him and it was a miracle when they captured two members of the crew. They had shot one guy. They got the other. It turned out the man they arrested was Manny. And the guy that ultimately died was Dante.

Detective Reyes recognized both. He grew up with them in foster care. They were abused by their foster parent and that’s why two of the guys were set on rape. They felt they had something to prove.

And Reyes knew the guy who was running the crew. It was his other foster brother, Vaughn.

THE END!
