In tonight’s Law & Order Organized Crime episode,Detective Stabler invited Tia into his apartment. He gave her his bed while he slept on the sofa. He was given an opportunity to sleep with her and he turned it down. He even told Tia there was someone else. Tia took the hint. She told him she would fly back to Italy and she also wished him luck with the woman he was in love with. But Stabler got a call from work before they could say goodbye. He was notified that Pearl Serrano became ill and that she passed out soon after leaving a celebrity safe space.

Pearl’s condition was suspicious. She wasn’t drinking. She also recently gave the police an encrypted drive in which evidence against the man she loves and his father was collected. Right away, Stabler thought it was the Silases that did something to her. He went to his Sergeant about it. Bell also thought it was suspicious, but she told him that they couldn’t take on any new cases right now and that he needed to hand it over to someone else. Bell wasn’t acting like herself. She heard back from Deputy Inspector Lillian Goldfarb. The bosses were shutting down their task force. Bell was given a direct order not to open up any new cases and that’s what she passed on to Stabler.

Only Bell didn’t explain why they couldn’t open new cases. Stabler thought something was up with her and he was never very good at taking orders and so he continued with looking into Pearl’s sudden “illness”. The most Pearl’s doctor was willing to tell him was that she had been drugged. Teddy Silas was told the same thing. He asked Stabler to investigate and Stabler didn’t full trust that. He looked into who would drug Pearl. There was no bigger suspect than Teddy himself. Not that Stabler said that to his face. He instead looked into Pearl’s situation. She had to be drugged at the club. He checked and he found out that someone wiped the hard drive of the security cameras.

The wipe was traced back to a guy who was running a date rape drug ring. He would drug the celebrities. They would act goofy and he had his girlfriend film them and then send the videos to people like TMZ. As for the night in question, the guy didn’t drug Pearl because he was focusing on two other celebrities. There was also the fact that Pearl wasn’t drugged with a date rape drug. She didn’t drink anything that night to hide the taste and so she had to be drugged another route. Stabler checked the fan videos of the people outside. He was able to determine that Pearl was drugged by her scarf.

Someone had laced the scarf with the belladonna plant. The plant was deadly. Its killed people before and what saved Pearl was the fast treatment she received. Pearl later woke up at the hospital. She was told she was drugged and she became scared for her life. She went into hiding. Stabler quickly found her and he asked her about that night. She told him everything was normal. She had her suspicions on who might have drugged her, but she couldn’t prove anything and the cops looking into it couldn’t find a connection to the Silases. They instead found a connection to the mob. The mob used belladonna to drug people all the time.

They did so as recently as 2020. The mob was tied to the attempted murder and Stabler wanted to correct all the connections. Bell found out what he was doing. She wasn’t angry. She wanted to see this case through and unfortunately it became bigger than they both realized. The mob connection as well as the belladonna connection implied that Russians were involved. Stabler turned to his old friend Tia for help. She assisted him with the rest of this case. They brought in the mobster that poisoned Pearl. But the mobster quickly lawyered up. And the guy shares the same lawyer as Teddy Silas.

Stabler thought it was time to confront Teddy. He went to Teddy’s apartment. He questioned him. Stabler told Teddy about the man who poisoned Pearl and how they had the same lawyer. Only his father was with him. Robert Silas shut down the conversation. He said Teddy wasn’t speaking without a lawyer and he said he’d make a call to the Police Commissioner if Stabler didn’t desist. Stabler did end up backing away. He chose to follow up with the poisoner, Luca. He was going to try get answers from him when he later found him being beaten by Teddy. Teddy beat Luca so bad that Luca eventually died.

But he didn’t die before he could name names. Luca admitted it was Robert Silas who hired him. Teddy had nothing to do with it. Teddy only beat up Luca because Luca almost killed his wife. And Teddy does love her. He especially loves the baby they were going to have. Pearl was pregnant and Robert knew about it and he still tried to kill her.

Robert sadly fled the country before he could be arrested.

Bell also broke the news to her people that their task force was at an end and they didn’t take it well.

THE END!
