Tonight’s Seeking Sister Wife episode begins with the Epps family, Taryn, Marcus, and India. Marcus is with India and asks her how she feels about this whole thing with Bina, like sex. He tells her that he wants it to be organic, at the moment, like when he was dating someone. If he has to call someone and ask permission, it won’t be organic. India doesn’t like that after one date he wants to have sex with another woman.
The Foley family, Brenda, and Steve, just got back from a Caribbean cruise. Before the cruise, they had a date night with April, and Brenda finds that since then April has distanced herself. Steve thinks they should just invite her out and have a casual talk. Brenda says she spent so much time trying to open up with her, but April doesn’t. Brenda is really upset, she doesn’t feel like April is good for her, she gives so much and gets nothing in return.
The Jones Family, Sidian, and Tosha have a new girlfriend. Arielle and Sidian have not met in person, Tosha has been trying to get her to visit but it hasn’t worked out well. Sidian even went to Costa Rica and Airelle’s flight was canceled because of COVID. He is not feeling defeated, but he is not motivated to travel again. Arielle is a big catch, and he thinks if they get together it is going to work. Tosha still thinks he should go there because Arielle has been denied to leave the country a few times.
The Merrifield family, Danielle, and Garrick have been in LA the last few days getting to know their potential sister-wife, Lea. She asks him how many wives he thinks he is going to have, and he says five. She asks him if he is a good leader, and he says yes. Lea finds the other two wives are needy and she has goals, she wants to finish nursing school and she would need them to support that.
Back to the Epps family, India hasn’t had a chance to meet Bina yet, so Marcus invites her over for drinks. Since her day with Marcus, Bina has had time to reflect and she knows it is time to get real. India asks Bina why Marcus, she says the vibe is there and if there are issues she knows she can talk them out with Taryn. Bina says she believes in polygamy because she doesn’t want to get cheated on, at least she will know who he is with. Taryn is still worried about Bina, and whether she has the right intentions to enter into a plural marriage.
Back to the Merrifields, this being their last day with Lea, they all meet to chat. Dannielle finds Lea asks a lot of questions, they like her but are not sure if she is 100% for them yet. Dannielle asks Lea about her former plural marriage, she says she was young and partying, and wasn’t ready to settle down, and even though they were together three years it didn’t work out. There are a lot of awkward gaps during their meeting.
Back to the Jones family, Sidian and Tosha are looking at flights so Sidian can go see Arielle for the first time. The plan is to book a flight to Phillapeans, get past immigration and COVID, spend time with Arielle and make her part of the family right there and then. They call Arielle and she is really excited about his visit. Tosha feels comfortable with Sidian and Arielle exploring their relationship, emotionally and sexually. Sidian is excited and engaged, but worries about the whole thing when the video call has ended.
The Foley family, Brenda, and Steve meet with April and are going to have a conversation with her about her communication, it needs improvement. April is nervous, she doesn’t know what to expect. Brenda tells her that she tries to make her feel comfortable, but after five months she doesn’t feel close to her and feels like she doesn’t mean anything to her. Brenda says she doesn’t want to feel left out, alone. April knows that if she doesn’t have a relationship with Brenda, she won’t be able to have one with Steve. Brenda says she doesn’t feel happy with the relationship. Steve never wants Brenda to be hurting.
