Jack gave Andy an idea. He told her that what the late Jeremy tried to do to her couldn’t have been a fluke. He was a rapist and so there had to be other victims. This was what launched Andy into looking for other victims. She started by reaching out to people he knew. She didn’t get anywhere there. But she did get somewhere by reading comments under articles about what happened. Someone wrote that Jeremy was a predator in college. This person had Dropout08 as their handle and so Andy figured this was a woman who went to school with Jeremy. And that was good news because Andy had already got a file on people who attended college with Jeremy.

Andy had all the time to track down survivors. She was still suspended from her job. Her friends were all still working and so Andy really had nothing else to do. The ADA on her case was throwing the book at her. They were doing so because Andy had been flirting with Jeremy before his death. The bartender testified to that. She had also willing kissed him before she changed her mind and he attacked her for it, but her rape kit just showed that they kissed. It didn’t show anything else. There was even footage of them kissing and going out frame up until Andy was seen running away. There was nothing to back up Andy’s story.

As far as it looked, she just killed a guy for no reason. The ADA did admit that his office has been getting a lot of anonymous calls about Jeremy and how he was a predator. But no one was willing to go on record. Jeremy was never charged with rape or attempted rape. He managed to evade the system and so finding his victims was an uphill battle because his victims never reported. They probably never even talked about it. They just hid what happened. They avoided him altogether. Andy couldn’t find people like that because odds are they hid as best as they could and so she used that handle as a means of finding Jeremy’s victims.

Andy was visiting someone who dropped out of college as Maya was doing an interview with Carina. Carina had to do an interview for her green card. It shouldn’t be too much of a problem because she was married to an American. She was also in the country legally as a doctor. She had a visa when she came. Her green card process therefore shouldn’t be that hard. Sure, the interviewer asked a lot of questions. But Carina felt she could handle them. She practiced this. She thought she had it and then Maya went on a rant. Maya had to explain why she wasn’t a captain anymore. She gave an official reason as well as an unofficial reason.

Maya admitted to being demoted for insubordination. She also told the interviewer that the real reason she was demoted was because of sexism and homophobia. She now has to watch a drunk for a captain and an addict as a lieutenant duel it out over what should be her job. Maya went full rant. Carina has heard this all before and so she hadn’t wanted to hear it again or tell the interviewer about this. Then again the interviewer had already been told a lot he shouldn’t know. Like when they met. When they first slept together. Carina and Maya also argued in front of the interviewer and so he granted Carina a green card for that last one.

The bickering reminded him of his and his wife’s arguments. Carina and Maya celebrated their green card news. They were doing this while the rest of the team was pulling off a daring rescue. A truck carrying medical waste crashed into a school bus. They were kids on the bus. But one of the containers on the truck spilled up and it was releasing radioactive material into the air. They had to explain that to the kids so that they didn’t risk leaving the bus before that material had been cleaned up. The firefighters were going to wait for a hazmat team to come and instead the truck driver decided to go out there and clean up the material himself.

The driver had a daughter. He would want someone to do for her what he was doing for those kids. The driver saved the day, but men like Dixon were on the police force and they wanted someone to blame and so they were charging the driver for a crime that was not his fault. Montgomery heard that. He got angry and that’s when he officially decided to run for Mayor of Seattle. Fire Chief Ross offered to personally endorse him. She also swung by Station 19. She did so as a means of getting closer to Sullivan. Sullivan and she were still going strong. Sullivan also had good news to share. He found out that his captain was going to get sober and that he was going to rehab. And so the captain job might be open again.

It probably won’t be given to Sullivan. But he can hope. As for Andy, she managed to convince one of Jeremy’s victims to come forward and so the ADA dropped charges against Andy. She’s now free to move on. She’s also free to get a job. Andy was offered Jack’s job because he chose to retire. And there’s no telling where he’ll go next.

And Maya later threatened to expose Ross’s relationship if she didn’t get her job back as captain.
