In tonight’s Survivor episode, its Day 6 on Taku, the tribal council went exactly how they planned and Maryanne revealed that she has the extra vote. Lindsey doesn’t know how she feels about it, but as long as they stay a strong four, it’s find for now. In the morning, the tribe all goes out to try to find an idol and Maryanne does it, she finds the idol. She found the three-way-shared immunity idol, but with that, she loses her vote until that idol is played.
Mike pressures Mike to look at his idol, he wants to read it. Mike gives it to him and doesn’t give him the idol back, just the letter. They walk back to where Daniel was reading it, and he dropped it on the ground, all resolved.
Time for the Immunity Challenge, Maryanne recites her phrase, but nobody else does. Today they are they are going to race out into the water and retrieve a ladder at the bottom of the of the ocean. They will use it to reach a key. The will use the key to release a bunch of sand bags and attempt to land those sand bags on a series of targets. First two tribes to finish win immunity and reward. First tribe to finish wins a Survivor tool kit and fruit. Second tribe to finish, smaller took kit, smaller fruit. The last tribe to finish, the losers, go to tribal council and gives up their flint.
It is windy and the waves are making it tough to navigate in the water. It is one of the most turbulent days ever seen on Survivor. Taku is in the lead but exhausted. Jonathan lands the first and second sand bags, then the third. Jonathan does it, Taku wins immunity and reward. Now it comes down to Vati and Ika. The ocean is really playing havoc with the survivors. Jeff calls it, he tells the two tribes to bring in their ladders.
Due the water conditions, they are going to give them the keys and they will continue the challenge from their to make it easier for them. With what energy they have left, they need to put their all into it. Taku gets the option to swap their fruit for fishing gear and they do it. Ika is the other tribe to win second place, Vati is going to tribal council. Taku has to pick on person from Vati’s tribe to go on a journey. They talk about it and choose Chanel. They have to pick on more person to go with Chanel, they choose Omar.
Chanel and Omar are on their journey, they are getting close. Once they get to the top of a mountain that they climbed, they have to separate and make a decision before they return to camp. After spending the day together, they must both make a strategic decision based on how well they got to know each other. Protect their vote, or risk their vote. If both players choose to protect their vote nothing changes, but if both risk, both lose their vote at the next tribal council. If it is split, the person that choose risk your vote gets an extra vote.
Time for tribal council, everyone lights a torch which represents their life in the game. Chanel says she told her tribe that she had a decision to make on her journey and she decided to play it safe. Mike believes her, they have been together through a lot and he doesn’t think she is giving their a snow job. Daniel tells Jeff that his tribe calms him down and he needs that. Lydia is terrified, this is wild. She has the excitement, but there is the horrible reality, what if it is her. Time to vote, Chanel finds out that she made a risky decision and she lost her vote.
No immunity idols are played, first vote is for Lydia, then Jenny, Lydia, Jenny – no votes left, it is a tie. They have to vote again. Time to read to votes a second time, Jenny, Lydia. We are tie a second time. Clearly they are deadlocked. Everyone, except Jenny and Lydia have to talk and decide who they are going to send home. Mike and Chanel both didn’t vote, they lost their votes and the rest of the tribe is shocked. If they can’t agree, Jenny and Lydia will be safe and the other four will draw rocks and one of them will go home. After a lot of talking back and forth, Jenny is voted out.
THE END!
