The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will share a heartbreaking goodbye. There’ll be one last farewell for this destroyed couple, so let’s talk about the collapse of “Bridge.”
Ridge has forgiven a lot over the years, but he’s really been pushed to his limit this time.
Everyone has a breaking point – and Ridge has reached his own. He just doesn’t see a way forward now that Brooke has betrayed him once again and defended Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to boot.
Of course, the show seems to be glossing over Ridge’s many mistakes.
Let’s not pretend Ridge is some saint who’s always treated Brooke as good as gold!
The truth is pretty much every B&B character is a hypocrite who’s committed their fair share of transgressions.
However, there’s no denying that Brooke has hurt Ridge plenty of times.
Ridge just can’t take it anymore, especially not when Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is around to show him another path forward and life he could be living.
During the week of February 21-25, Brooke won’t want to accept that it’s the end of the road.
However, it’ll soon become crystal clear that Ridge is truly done.
Once Brooke realizes there’s nothing that can fix this, it’ll be time to say goodbye.
That’ll be easier said than done since Ridge and Brooke obviously still have a great deal of love for each other.
There’ll be some deeply emotional moments as they express that love and go their separate ways.
Brooke will no doubt sob over the loss again – perhaps even harder than before since this will feel so final.
Naturally, B&B fans know better than to consider any breakup permanent! Pretty much any couple can come back around.
That’s especially true for Brooke and Ridge since they always seem to be splitting just to reunite in the end.
We’re willing to bet that Ridge and Brooke will be back together within months, but this crushing goodbye should still bring some gripping scenes in the meantime.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will have a chance to explore things with Deacon if she chooses to – just like Ridge will be free to pursue things with Taylor.
