The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) seems poised to get some shocking Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) news, so his world will spin out in an instant. Let’s talk about B&B’s tricky situation and what it means for Carter’s future.
At the moment, Carter is perfectly content with Quinn and ready to live happily ever after. Sadly, that’s no longer possible since Rena Sofer has wrapped up her run as Quinn.
The show wasn’t able to include an exit before Sofer’s departure, so they’ll have to include one now that she’s gone. There’ll need to be some sort of offscreen explanation for Quinn’s absence – and Carter’s fall preview info seemingly hints at it.
This autumn on B&B, Carter’s life will change instantly. There’ll be some situation that suddenly gets thrown at Carter, who’ll feel like his world has been upended.
It’s possible Quinn will have a change of heart about their romance and leave behind a letter or something along those lines. It’d be easy to use Carter’s desire for children as something that Quinn felt he deserved and couldn’t give him.
However, it seems like Carter would follow Quinn to the ends of the earth if he believed he still had a chance with her. It’d be out of character for Carter to let Quinn go without a fight, so the show may need a stronger exit strategy.
Will tragedy befall Quinn offscreen? Could Quinn end up dead or at least presumed dead? Regardless, Carter will receive some stunning updates that leave him reeling, so he’s not going to like the way all this turns out.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will naturally need to know what’s going on with his mother as well, so we’ll hopefully see his reaction to the latest Quinn developments. It’ll be interesting to see exactly how the writers handle it now that Quinn won’t be part of the story anymore.
