The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Do you prefer big bad “Dollar Bill” Spencer (Don Diamont) or the reformed nice guy? Which version of the character is better?
Don Diamont is a great actor and a fantastic asset at B&B. Diamont is one of those handsome men who brings serious charm onscreen and seems to work with almost any love interest.
There’s no one else who could bring Bill to life quite like Diamont can – no matter which version of Bill he’s playing.
That said, fans certainly have their preferences when it comes to whether they like new-and-improved Bill or the sinister classic.
Bill certainly has a shady history and knows how to play dirty when the situation calls for it.
That’s why no one was surprised when Bill put his sword necklace back on and started talking about needing protection from himself.
Bill can be a force to be reckoned with when he wants to be, so his behavior is wild and unpredictable when he goes down that road.
Of course, playing up Bill as a misunderstood baddie with messy motives can be quite entertaining!
At the same time, it was lovely to see Bill’s progress and softer side for a while.
That was especially true during Bill’s arc with traumatized Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and everything he did to get her back to old self.
Bill was a hero when he found Li looking so scared, lost and alone.
Thanks to Bill’s compassion and patience, he was able to reunite this mom with her son, so Li and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will be forever grateful for his help.
That reformed nice guy could come back around eventually, so viewers who prefer that version of Bill shouldn’t give up hope.
In the meantime, fans can watch Bill rely on some old tactics and stir up some devious “Dollar Bill” trouble.
