The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) will spill Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) secret, so this may be how Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) discovers her mom’s hot night with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
B&B fans know Douglas caught a glimpse of something not meant for his little eyes.
When Douglas showed up looking for his favorite stuffed animal, he caught Grandma kissing Santa Claus aka Deacon and looked tickled pink over it.
Of course, Douglas may not tattle on Brooke right away. He might feel like he could get on Santa’s bad side – and he won’t want to get his grandma into trouble either. However, it’s easy to imagine Douglas letting something slip to Hope eventually.
Perhaps Douglas will wonder what happens if Santa does something naughty.
Douglas might quiz Hope about whether there’s a naughty list for Santa too and leave her confused over what this kid’s talking about. It could lead to Douglas confessing what he saw and throwing Hope for a loop.
Hope might assume it must’ve been Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) dressed up as Santa – that is until Douglas confirms this happened after Christmas.
Douglas might explain that he went back for Peanut Butter the stuffed rabbit and witnessed this on New Year’s Eve.
That could leave Hope’s heart sinking since she’ll ultimately know Ridge didn’t make it back in time to kiss Brooke by midnight.
Hope will also find out about Brooke falling off the wagon and banning Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) from the premises, so Douglas could click some crucial puzzle pieces into place.
There’s surely a reason why B&B writers let Douglas become privy to the secret, especially with this Santa twist.
Douglas is bound to reveal the secret in an innocent way, and Hope makes sense as the one he’ll blab to.
Thanks to Douglas, Hope may decide she has to confront Brooke and pry the full truth out of her regarding New Year’s Eve.
