The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, August 5, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will essentially play Cupid for Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) while Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) shares a theory about Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and the women in his life.
First, the shock will finally start to wear off for Steffy, who’s been overwhelmed by all the emotions she’s feeling.
Steffy will let herself accept that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is really back and isn’t going anywhere, so she should be in a more playful mood.
Of course, Steffy has been known to tease her parents from time to time.
That’s exactly what Steffy will do on Friday’s B&B episode when she notices the obvious chemistry between Taylor and Ridge.
Steffy will pick up on something shifting between her mom and dad, so she may point out that Monaco is awfully magical.
Finn’s miraculous Monte Carlo return proved that and gave Steffy her happy ending, so she’ll wish Taylor could have one with Ridge, too.
Steffy knows Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) has some kind of hold on Ridge, but she won’t let that stop her from playing matchmaker.
We’ll see Steffy call Taylor and Ridge out on their vibe shift, so she’ll enjoy making her parents uncomfortable and pushing them together.
Back in Los Angeles, Brooke will bolt when Deacon comes looking for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
After that photo incident, Brooke will be even more determined to keep her distance from Deacon and avoid riling Ridge up.
However, Deacon will form a theory involving Ridge, Taylor and Brooke.
That could be as simple as thinking Ridge finds excuses to waffle from one woman to the other.
Maybe Deacon will feel like Ridge intentionally goes looking for reasons to swing back in the other direction.
Since Deacon has been growing closer to Taylor lately, Hope may pick up on the fact that he seems awfully protective of her.
Deacon is protective of Brooke as well, but he knows Ridge will always end up back with her due to their “destiny.”
Perhaps Deacon will argue that Taylor needs to move on – though he might leave out the part about how it should be with him!
Regardless, Hope will mull over Deacon’s theory and his thoughts on Ridge’s commitment issues.
Deacon and Hope won’t know about Ridge’s Monaco kiss with Taylor, but they probably won’t be surprised when that tidbit comes out down the road.
