The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, December 2, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) confessed Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) kiss attempt to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) also had a cabin homecoming, so here’s how all the B&B drama went down.
At the Forrester mansion, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) reminded Thomas that what he did was destructive and wrong.
Thomas argued that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was an obstacle that he removed, but Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) angrily asked how that worked out for him.
Taylor took some of the blame since she panicked and couldn’t bring herself to tell Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) the truth before the wedding.
Since Taylor wanted a moment alone, Steffy and Thomas left her to sulk by herself.
At the cabin, Brooke finished the story she’d started offscreen, so Liam and Hope reeled over Steffy objecting after Douglas played the recordings.
That left Hope ranting about how Taylor didn’t volunteer any information before the ceremony.
Brooke talked about how shocking Thomas’ scheme was, so Hope said her mom was right about him all along.
However, Brooke felt there was one good thing about all this since Douglas was coming home.
After Brooke decided she had some unfinished business with Taylor, she headed off to the Forrester mansion.
That gave Hope a chance to admit to Liam that she felt foolish for believing in Thomas.
Hope came clean about Thomas trying to kiss her, but she assured a furious Liam that she shut him down and that he backed off.
Liam calmed himself and hugged Hope since her safety along with Douglas’ were the only things he cared about.
Soon after, Eric Forrester (John McCook) brought Douglas to the cabin, so Hope and Liam gushed over how happy they were to have him back.
Once Eric was gone, Douglas opened up about playing the recordings for Steffy despite Thomas not wanting him to.
Both Hope and Liam were proud of Douglas for doing the right thing.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas insisted Taylor and Ridge were minutes away from being married when Steffy destroyed everything.
Steffy thought Thomas was unbelievable and wanted her normal brother back.
Thomas just wanted to help, but Steffy snapped that now Taylor was paying the price.
Although Thomas was tired of acting Steffy had some halo, she wanted him to understand the damage he’d done.
Steffy made it clear that Thomas wouldn’t get away with it this time and would have to face the consequences.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Brooke approached Taylor and admitted she knew everything thanks to Ridge’s visit.
Taylor was upset with Thomas, but she was also worried about him.
Brooke argued that Taylor should be since he was sick and needed serious, objective help – not help from his enabling mother who was making questionable decisions of her own.
After Brooke pointed out that Taylor knew the truth and didn’t tell Ridge, Taylor defended herself since she only knew five minutes before the ceremony.
Taylor had held tight to the belief that it wouldn’t affect whether Ridge wanted to marry her, especially after the promises he made in Aspen.
Brooke insisted Ridge never would’ve left her unless he thought she did something unforgivable.
Taylor argued that she was going to tell Ridge the truth eventually and talked about it being a mess since she’d waited on this wedding day for so long.
Taylor reflected on being torn between Steffy and Thomas before the nuptials since Thomas made “excellent points.”
Ridge previously swore he wanted to be with Taylor for always and said it had nothing to do with Brooke.
Now Brooke acknowledged that Taylor’s last few weeks with Ridge were all based on a lie.
Taylor asked where things stood between Brooke and Ridge, so Brooke admitted she urged him to do some soul-searching.
Brooke wanted Ridge to figure out what he truly wanted and said he couldn’t come back to her until he could completely commit.
Once Brooke admitted she couldn’t do this back and forth anymore, she argued that it wasn’t fair to any of them.
Brooke said they didn’t deserve that, so Taylor agreed they didn’t. For what it was worth, Brooke was sorry – and Taylor told Brooke that she was sorry, too.
Taylor apologized for what Thomas did and basically wondered what it was even for.
After Taylor told Brooke goodbye and walked out, Brooke stood there deep in thought.
