The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Friday, July 22 Recap – Li Rejects Hospital & Goes Home with Bill

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, July 22, reveals that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) rejected the hospital and went home with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Li also confirmed she had a son, but she struggled to speak as a puzzled Bill sought answers.

At the cliff house, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) cried over Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) checking into a treatment center and thought she never should’ve let Steffy go off by herself.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) argued that Steffy would feel that painful void anywhere and put the blame on Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

Although Steffy was in good hands, Ridge suggested they should get on a plane and fly to her.

Taylor understood that desire, but she also respected the doctor’s recommendation to keep their distance during this stage of treatment.

After Taylor reflected on Steffy’s grief, she couldn’t help but think about what it’d be like if John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) were still alive.

If that were possible, Taylor thought the darkness would go away and that Steffy’s life would light back up.

Next on Friday’s B&B episode, Finn raged over Sheila killing his mother, but Sheila argued that Li lost control of her car.

Sheila also argued that Li was no saint, but Finn was tired of all the excuses and reiterated that Li was dead because of her.

Finn said he hated Sheila, who was just some crazy lady that he wished he’d never met.

Sheila warned Finn not to talk to his mother that way, but he insisted she gave birth to him and that’s it. Li was Finn’s real mother and always has been.

Sheila stood by her claims that Li’s death and Finn’s shooting were accidents.

Although Sheila chased Li, she assured Finn that she never wanted to see her die. Finn fired back that he’d never believe a word Sheila said ever again.

Sheila wanted to prove herself, but she urged Finn to stay calm so she wouldn’t have to sedate him again.

Finn asked about Steffy and worried Sheila was lying about her being out of town, so he demanded to know if she hurt his wife.

After Finn pushed for a phone, he became increasingly agitated over Sheila keeping him there. Sheila tried to hug Finn, but he quickly shoved her away.

“You killed my mom! You…killed…my…mom!” Finn shouted.

In the alley, Bill introduced himself to a frazzled Li and pushed for her name.

Li cried as Bill kept trying to figure out if she was injured, hungry or sick.

Since Li refused an ambulance, Bill said he’d take her home with him and promised she could trust him.

After Bill extended his hand, Li took it and indeed seemed to find him trustworthy.

Once Bill took Li back to his place, he invited her to sit down on the couch and offered more reassurance.

Bill told Li that she was safe and that no harm would come to her, especially not from him. All Bill wanted to do was provide refuge and help Li get better.

Bill begged Li to let him take her to the hospital, but she shook her head no.

After Bill once again asked for Li’s name, he offered food or at least some water. Bill wanted Li to tell him who she was and what happened to her.

After Bill wondered if there was any family he could contact, he asked if Li had children and got her to acknowledge that she had a son.

Li tried her best to speak, but Bill was confused about what she was trying to tell him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill and Li will become quite a team in the coming episodes, so stick with the CBS soap.
