The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) could fall for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) after losing Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) custody – or at least she could convince herself that’s the case. Will a reunited family unit form?
After Thomas suggests Douglas should move back in with him for good, it’ll turn Hope’s world upside down.
Hope may not be Douglas’ biological mother, but she’s become his mom in every way that counts.
That’s why Hope will panic at the thought of Douglas not living under her roof full-time.
Of course, Thomas has been rehabilitated and will feel he has a right to truly raise his son, so this will be a complicated situation all around.
Hope’s maternal instincts are a big part of her character.
It’s clear that Hope’s role as a mom is incredibly important to her, so this Douglas drama may really mess with her head and heart.
Hope may get so torn up that she starts to feel pulled in Thomas’ direction.
If Douglas indeed ends up primarily living with Thomas, Hope might miss him so badly that she starts to envision a reunited family with her former flame.
That’s especially true since Thomas will be in total dad mode – looking like a fantastic father who’s fully recovered from his issues.
Thomas’ strong paternal side could be quite appealing to Hope, who might drift away from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and back toward her transformed ex.
Summer preview spoilers have always hinted that mature love might be in Thomas’ future.
Could Thomas finally get a chance at building a family with Hope – complete with the romance he always wanted?
Thomas’ obsession could be replaced by a healthier relationship depending on how B&B writers want to take the story.
However, it could also be Hope who becomes fixated this time around.
Hope might become so obsessed with being there for Douglas that she convinces herself reuniting with Thomas is what she wants.
Naturally, this could get messy since Hope is also raising Beth Spencer (River Davidson) with Liam, but she may think she can work all that out.
Bottom line, Thomas’ desire to have Douglas move back in will throw Hope into a tizzy.
It could leave Hope’s world spinning out so badly that she considers reuniting with Thomas for Douglas’ sake.
There’s even a chance Hope could develop real romantic feelings for Thomas, so it’ll be interesting to see what the future holds.
