The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) hot chemistry is being wasted for Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) latest story. B&B needs to fix their big mistake with a new romance, so let’s talk about that.
Many viewers were on board with the sizzle Carter and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) brought to the table, so it was a bummer when the show just dropped “Quarter.”
At the same time, we get why Quinn would want to make it work with Eric Forrester (John McCook) and stick with her husband if possible.
However, Carter still deserves a steamy pairing that fans can root for.
This whole Paris situation feels like a flop and isn’t doing either character any favors.
For a while, it looked like Katie was going to be Carter’s new love interest.
Carter and Katie sparkled in their scenes together – and it seemed like a good thing for both of them since Katie also wanted a fresh path forward.
Katie opened up to Carter about how she was tired of feeling second best in Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) heart, so Carter could relate to wanting someone who would put him first.
Of course, Paris can’t really do that since she’s so focused on her freedom.
An open relationship isn’t what Carter was previously looking for at all.
After what happened with Quinn, Carter was looking for someone who would be his one and only.
That’s obviously not Paris, who keeps jumping from man to man and has no interest in being tied down.
We haven’t forgotten about Paris’ crush on John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) or the mutual crushing that seemed to be happening with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) before she rejected him.
Now Paris wants to string Zende along while pursuing a romance with Carter.
Paris is acting like a teenager with out-of-control hormones when Carter needs an adult relationship – someone more mature like Katie who can respect what he wants and really understand him.
It might be different if Carter and Paris had amazing chemistry of their own, but it’s lackluster at best.
It just feels like the show would be better off steering Carter back in Katie’s direction and giving them a real shot.
Katie and Carter’s scenes on the January 26 episode proved they’ve still got an easy, natural vibe – just waiting to explode into something more.
There’s definitely a spark worth pursuing here, so all B&B has to do is take advantage of it!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Carter and Paris’ romance is a disaster waiting to happen, so maybe Katie and Carter’s chance will swing back around eventually.
