The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that we should talk about Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) chance at romance. In the new issue of SOD, Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell decided to speak out on this coupling possibility, so let’s unpack the situation.
B&B fans know Brooke and Liam have formed a closer bond in recent months.
That’s partly because Liam and Brooke are on the same page about a lot of things – like the threat Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) still poses.
Of course, Liam and Brooke have also been keeping each other company since their preferred conversation partners aren’t available.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has been busy with Thomas lately – and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) made the decision to reunite with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
That’s given Brooke and Liam an opportunity to lean on each other for support.
Liam even came to Brooke’s rescue when she was tempted by alcohol, so now they’re keeping a secret from Hope.
When you add that to the amount of time Liam and Brooke have been spending together, it’s led to some raised eyebrows.
Many viewers can’t help but wonder if a Brooke and Liam pairing is possible.
Bradley Bell clearly knows he’s offering hints since he took the time to address Brooke’s potential romance with Liam.
That’s the kind of thing that would stir up some serious drama, so it’s worth mulling over.
“Could there ever be a Brooke and Liam coupling? She betrayed Bridget years ago.
To do that again, I’m not saying that it’s impossible, but it’s something that would weigh very heavily on Brooke,” Bell said.
If we read between the lines, Bell doesn’t seem to be offering a great deal of hope for a Liam and Brooke pairing.
This makes it sound like Brooke wouldn’t want a repeat of what happened when she slept with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) while he was married to Bridget.
Still, Bell wouldn’t go as far as ruling it out. The fact that Bell didn’t shut the door completely could be significant since he’s apparently keeping an open mind here.
Bottom line, a single Brooke is a dangerous Brooke, especially around a waffler like Liam.
Even if Liam and Brooke never become a thing, it’s interesting to consider the chaos that hookup would bring!
