The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) may kiss Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in a moment of heartbreak. Will Liam take his comfort too far and do something to jeopardize his marriage?
Right now, Hope isn’t exactly thrilled over Liam and Steffy having this reason to bond again, but she understands it.
Steffy is grieving the loss of John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) – and Liam is Kelly Spencer’s (Sophia Paras McKinlay) father.
It’s reasonable for Liam to step up and be there for Steffy during this crisis.
Although Hope wants Liam to focus on his family with her too, she’s not trying to deny him time with his “Steam” family either.
Instead, Hope is shoving down her concerns and just trying to get through this difficult chapter as well.
However, all of this hinges on Liam maintaining appropriate boundaries with his former flame.
What happens if Liam crosses the line with Steffy? That could easily happen for several reasons, so we should mull those over.
For starters, B&B loves forbidden kisses between exes. It’s a great way to do a betrayal story that’s not quite as bad as a full-blown one in the bedroom.
Steffy and Liam could be next in line for a secret kiss that causes drama later.
Plus, all these scenes of Liam consoling Steffy are going to get repetitive at some point.
If this comfort keeps up – and it will during the week of May 23-27 according to the latest spoilers – then there’s bound to be a shift eventually.
Liam will keep going over to Steffy’s house and growing closer to her in her time of need.
This has to be building somewhere, so the next logical step seems like a kiss.
Of course, there’s always a chance Steffy and Liam could go further than that, but we could at the very least see a lip lock.
Hope certainly wouldn’t approve if she found out Liam was stealing kisses with his ex and using the excuse of making Steffy feel better!
This could create a turning point that sends Liam and Hope’s marriage into a tailspin, so maybe a “Steam” kiss could indeed be on the horizon.
