The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, August 1, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) ran to John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) warm embrace while Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) told Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) that her son was alive.
In Monaco on Monday’s B&B episode, Finn approached the woman he thought was Steffy, but it turned out to be someone else.
That left Finn disappointed as he continued to wonder where Steffy could be.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) received a call from Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin), who admitted he already knew Finn was alive.
Baker also had bad news about Sheila since she’d gotten away again.
Meanwhile, a mysterious woman (Ayda Field) approached Steffy and asked if she was OK.
Steffy admitted she wasn’t, so the woman asked if she could do anything to help.
After Steffy said there was no one who could help her, the woman suggested maybe there was and touched Steffy’s arm gently.
Steffy heard church bells ringing, so she went inside that church and lit a candle.
Once Finn got on the phone with Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), they decided to come help him search the streets for Steffy.
However, it was Finn who ultimately heard the same church bells that Steffy heard, so he was drawn to building.
As Steffy emerged from the church, Finn called out to her. Steffy gasped as they both ran into each other’s arms, but she struggled to believe this was really happening.
Finn assured Steffy that he was alive – that it was really him. A stunned Steffy kept touching Finn tenderly and hugging him in relief.
Back in Los Angeles, Sheila knocked on Deacon’s door and barged her way in despite his protests.
Deacon fumed over Sheila putting his probation in jeopardy, but she had nowhere else to go.
After Deacon ranted about Sheila killing her son, she informed him that Finn was alive and recapped the story of Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) smuggling him out of the hospital.
Sheila begged Deacon to let her stay, but he pointed out that she was asking him to harbor a fugitive.
Deacon also didn’t think Sheila should get a free pass just because Steffy and Finn hadn’t died.
Sheila acted like all those weeks thinking she’d killed Finn were punishment enough.
After Sheila talked about how Steffy and Finn would be even stronger after this tragedy, Deacon scoffed over her acting like she’d given them a gift.
Sheila insisted she couldn’t go back behind bars since she wouldn’t survive there.
As Sheila continued to beg, Deputy Chief Baker began knocking at the door.
Deacon was suddenly caught between Sheila’s plea not to rat her out and Baker’s looming questions!
